You drunk mate?

Look at the text from Trenners, its pretty straight forward

I didn't see anything of news, other than he didn't say anything about bad news, unless the English language has changed since I went to bed last night. maybe the earth only rotated a half turn overnight, & we're in china; china.

yeah, i must be drunk, comrade

read it again and i didn't see anything that hadn't been said before

but i bow to your sober optimism and take it to cryptically mean he got a good scan result

thanks for your interpreter expertise

maybe the scanning man person, gave him a headsup hint that the scans appeared OK to him, pre the orthopedic specialista's report ???

or maybe jack just got lucky, & the boys were encouraging him. heard to say really.

Yeah, if it wasn't for "Laugh-In" we would never have got Goldie Hawn.

And without Derek and Clive we would never have got the Horn.

Don't know for sure but I suspect that the proponents of hyperbaric oxygen would try to sell it to him.

so some sort of bypass couldn't be done? to increase inner diameter of vessels to the region?

Awesome news!

Great to see that Jack and Christian have become such good buddies.

Similar to the man-love between Nat and Gus.

The two young guys could not have better role-models!

Or Brad and Cam

or Col and Broc... umm

Why'd the club bother when we've got Christians cryptic Tweet to work with?

Has anyone thought to check Richmond's website?

Is Trengove the missing A+ midfielder we need?

Is Trengove the missing A+ midfielder we need?

Maybe if he is able to catch his 2011 form and continue to develop from there, but if it's 2012-1014 Trengove, i seriously doubt it.

Would love to be proven otherwise. He's a top bloke.

Is Trengove the missing A+ midfielder we need?

Not IMO

I think he is a half forward I believe that is where he played best back in 2011

But lets see if he can play anywhere for 100 minutes first.

Can we keep the religious talk in the "Melbourne FC to target an A+ midfielder" thread please.

Greatest comeback in games history?

Lol kidding right? Good on him if he comes back but bit thats a bit of a stretch mate..

Our very own David Schwarz came back from 3 knee recos and won a best and fairest. Daniel Menzel is another who has been through absolute hell with his knee injuries is another who is defying the odds at the moment.

Mitch Clark missed more games then trenners.. just saying..

Morabito for mine.

Jack:

CT scan shows bone continuing to heal

Surgeon said he can run over next few weeks

They will build a program for the nexy few months

Jack is very Happy!

Is Trengove the missing A+ midfielder we need?

Maybe, IF he plays 40 games in 2016/2017, builds form, confidence and fitness and starts 2018 with all guns blazing as a 26 year old.. lots of water to pass under the bridge though

He will most likely get soft tissue injuries when he starts up again as his muscles are no longer conditioned.

Similair to what Mitch Clark had happen

I'm so happy for him, and I hope he gets back on track and is ready to fire next season

He really deserves some good luck!

I've always liked him since he committed to the club as opposed to a former number one who didn't.

OMG does following MFC make you that much of a pessimist?

One of the most negative posts I have seen on this site, and that is a big hurdle to jump.

He isn't wrong though. After such a long lay off it is expected that he will suffer a soft tissue injury or two as his body re-adjusts to the training loads.

I don't think olisik was saying Trenners wasn't going to make it, more that he will still have a few mental and physical hurdles to jump before he is back on the park.

I'm confident he will be far better than Mitch at handling it though.

    TRAINING: Friday 28th February 2025

A couple of Demonland Trackwatchers headed down to Gosch's Paddock to bring you their observations from today's training session before the Demons head off to Perth for their final Practice Match. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Beautiful morning, not much wind, more than a couple of dozen spectators.  The players were up and about, boisterous and having fun. One of their last drills were three teams competing in a hard at it, handball game in a small area. Goody

THE ACCIDENTAL DEMONS by The Oracle

In the space of eight days, the Melbourne Football Club’s plans for the coming year were turned upside down by two season-ending injuries to players who were contending strongly for places in its opening round match against the GWS Giants. Shane McAdam was first player to go down with injury when he ruptured an Achilles tendon at Friday afternoon training, a week before the cut-off date for the AFL’s pre-season supplemental selection period (“SSP”). McAdam was beginning to get some real mom

RETURN TO NORMAL by Whispering Jack

One of my prized possessions is a framed, autographed guernsey bearing the number 31 worn by my childhood hero, Melbourne’s champion six time premiership player Ronald Dale Barassi who passed away on 16 September 2023, aged 87. The former captain who went on to a successful coaching career, mainly with other clubs, came back to the fold in his later years as a staunch Demon supporter who often sat across the way from me in the Northern Stand of the MCG cheering on the team. Barassi died the
