He was the first in the " only to appear at Casey " boat.

however he has a number of other oarsmen now in Dunn, Grimes, Garland and  Trengove.

Can anyone confirm the rumour that Dean Terlich has requested a trade to Nunawading?

Obviously this is a joke....As Nunawading gets belted by 250+ points every week. Jokes aside, good on Terlich for fronting up the last 2 years knowing his careers over & has been a solid contributor to Casey lately... Hopefully he continues his form into the finals

As he should, he's getting paid bloody good money as are just about all AFL players.

4th in the B&F 2 years ago. Knows how to find the ball but decision making & disposal sometimes erratic.

Where is he ? Hasn't played NAB Cup. Hasn't played for Casey. Not on the injury list ????

He has been playing for Casey

Yeah but obviously when you can see the writting on the wall it would be easy to just go through the motions & not give your all on game day. Regardless of what your getting paid most people who knew they would be sacked from their job for 12 months would be doing it half assed

Oh definitely but it's different at the same time, he's on an AFL list playing footy for a living, got to make the most of that

it's not like he's working in a factory that's about to close down that he doesn't give a [censored] about

When the end comes at Melbourne, Terls will still want to play football and if he can show that he's just a little below AFL level and is prepared to put in every week without fail, he'll get a gig somewhere, either in Victoria or South Australia.

I hope he does well, he has given his all at the club but it's just not enough, it didn't help that Roos delisted him at Sydney.

That is actually insulting.....it has happened to me twice, ie redundancy and because I was getting paid a decent salary, I did my job professionally up until the last day....maybe you would

I am hoping Terlis gets picked up by one of the State League, 'if an when' he gets delisted

He's still being paid a bloody good salary. I bet you he's on a lot more than most of us on Demonland and that's no disrespect to anyone. He's on a footballer's contract and so fronting up for two years on that money wouldn't be hard. Yeah, okay, so his dream is clearly to play AFL, but he's had a go and he's still on an AFL list and he's still being well-paid. There are tougher things in the world...

Not sure why you've copped so much grief for this. I agree with you 100%. Terlich could've taken it easy and coasted through but he had a good preseason to give himself one more shot and has embraced the forward role and got on the end of a few goals for it.

Any chance we give him a mini token farewell game in one of the last couple of games?

I wouldn't be opposed to it.

If teams are picked on form and VFL form is the basis of a player being adjudge to replace and under performing AFL player, then he should be back in this week... Not saying that I necessarily want this, but surely reward for effort must be there..

Hopefully, will be remembered for his first year at the club when he played well in a poor team and finished high in the B & F then the last couple of years when on the outer at the club but still put in some terrific games for Casey and helped our young kids in their development.

Delisted, not picked up in the trades and is only an outside chance of finding a new AFL home.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
