MFC injury list - 2015

Try running or jumping with a stuffed toe and see how you go. Its a delicate injury that takes time to get over.

The overreactions are hilarious.

Yes, the overreactions are just weird.

We need look no further than Jack Trengove's situation to know how delicate foot issues are.

I hope Frost takes as long as is necessary to be 110% OK before coming back.

Looking at the selected teams for the AFL and VFL for this weekend, it would appear that our stocks are improving considerably.

With 16 players named out at Casey on top of the 22 playing today for the Demons, our injury list is down to 6:-

* the trio who are out for the season and

* Dean Kent

* Christian Salem, and

* Sam Frost

Things are looking up for a better finish to the season than last year.

Frost was 4-6 on May 8th! So what's with the 4-6 call today?

Broken toe was the initial injury as I remember.

Foot injuries are shocking things to get over.

With our luck the operation will have failed and he will start taking photos.

Can't be bothered to trawling through the posts, but I do wonder how many of those who are berating the club for caution on Frost's foot are also the ones who castigated the club for supposedly rushing Trengove back enabling an aggravation of his injury, though undiagnosed (and quite possibly undiagnosable) at the time

Just saying..........

* and that photographer guy too

I don't think I have read anyone saying he should be back Playing.

IMO People are concerned / amazed at how long he has been out and there does not seem to be any improvment.

They are keeping Frost in cotton wool for round 23 when he will be unleashed against his old team GWS and kick 8 goals in a Demon win

Not sure what you had for dinner h_h but I suspect it was liquid

Good to see our injury list down at this time of year. Kent might get in 5-6 afl games and Salem 4-5 towards the end of the year. Would actually like Frost playing for a couple of games in the 2s. Could be good for Casey finals!

Again wtf is Misson doing? Frost was listed as 4-6 over 8 weeks ago now. FCS, send him to the Richmond doctor, then we'll get a more accurate reading.

In case you were not aware, Missen isn't an orthopaedic / foot surgeon. Not even a doctor.

So, what do you expect him to do with a broken foot / toe?

    CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

    The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

    I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

    Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
