Had a great start to the season as a small forward but, as with many young players in their debut seasons, his form dropped off as the season wore on.

Was going great guns until Queens Birthday and then was pretty awful thereafter. I wonder if Roos might have done things differently if he had his time again. Should become a very good player going forward, although perhaps not the genuine small forward we desperately need.

Showed enough in his first year, also went back and played some good games for Casey after Queens birthday, so that's a good sign. The Adelaide game showed how exciting he can be when he is on. a natural footballer, who seems to know when to choose the right option, and tackles !!

My gut feel is we got one right here. just needs some maturity and consistency.

Was impressive fjrst half of the year then faded out towards the end as expected.

One thing has over alot of small forwards is his ability to win alot of the ball. I know when he went back to Casey he was getting 25 plus disposal around the ground.

Reminds me alot of Mathew Stokes and cant wait to see him develope next year again.

He was exciting early but faded dramatically in the last half of the season, being used as a sub often didn't help him.

He needs a big preseason.

A natural footballer. He's not as fast as Lewis Jetta for example, but hunts the ball, has great agility, and makes the right decisions. Of any of the 'potentials' and 'maybe's' on our list for the past however many years, I've got a very good feeling about this kid. I think he'll end up an onballer on account of the breadth of his abilities. Similar hopes with Salem.

Showed plenty, but also was exposed plenty. A pre-season will help, and I think he could well lock down a spor in 2015. Looks good with the footy, moves well and is pretty good in front of goal.

Fingers crossed he develops further.

    CROSSROADS by The Oracle

Melbourne stands at the crossroads.  Sunday’s game against the West Coast Eagles who have not met the Demons at the MCG in more than ten years, is a make or break for the club’s finals aspirations.  That proposition is self-evident since every other team the club will be opposed to over the next eight weeks of footy is a prospective 2024 finalist. To add to this perspective is the fact that while the Demons are now in twelfth position on the AFL table, they are only a game and a half b

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi
