Well done on the achievement. I'm a fan of him at his best; he offers run and intent that others in our side could learn from.

If he can develop some consistency and gain a little polish, his next 50 may come a little quicker. It does feel like he's been around a long time.

I think he will be our most improved player this year. The only real knock on him has been his kicking and I think its more to do with settling and balance when kicking then ability/skill.

Well speak of the devil, just saw him out for dinner with two Dees superstars... South Yarra/Richmond is clearly the place to be for Dees players because I've seen about ten this year!

Anyway, I think Bail will improve out of sight in the next few years, and I think Roos sees a lot of potential in him.

Good on him - Nasher's point above re taking a long time is interesting. I think Bail is firmly in the group we brought in a few years ago that could never get on the park together (Blease, Strauss, Jetta, Tapscott etc) due to injury. They all took far longer than you'd think to rack up a meaningful number of games and it really hurt team development through that time, in my view.

Hammy in the warmup, was it not?

?

I thought it was the Collingwood game where he kicked it to Pettard in the dying stages. Lost by less than a goal.

That game sticks in my memory as his first. I could be and probably am completly wrong.

Ro is one of my favourites, but has been frustrating with poor disposal and bad decision making over his career. I love his full-on approach to the game: runs hard, tackles hard is amazing when he takes the game on. He has been pretty good this year and I reckon Roos likes him.

Well done. His next 50 could be something special - watch this space.

I'm a bit in the Brian Taylor camp about milestones such as this, but congratulations to him all the same.

In terms of the way he plays, Rohan Bail has got tunnel vision like nobody's business. I wish he'd dish it off more often inside 50, but other than that I think he gives us a lot of run and effort.

Yep, hammy in the warm up, tried to play, failed miserably, and all after his mother had just passed away.

Just a carp week for the bloke.

Does feel like he's been around for 100 games, though.

Well done Rohan. A late draft pick and with several injuries and not the most talent, gives his all.

Agree Redleg

I am not a big fan but his effort is first class

I reckon he's not far away from a break out 4 goal game he's capable of.

He's just a little too inconsistent at the moment to be a considered a good afl footballer at the moment. Hopefully he'll get there.

He had one kick, it was an absolute ripper in the first minute of the game against NM at Etihad.

Well, at least they were having a meal together and not out clubbing or binge drinking (I hope!).

Well done...enjoy the day....and win!

(50 more than most - but possibly not all - of those who post here).

For a guy taken at pick 64 (I think) he's done exceptionally well to reach the 50 game milestone. Not the flashiest player going around but he gives his all most weeks. Well done Rohan Bail!

No alcohol that I noticed, but I was distracted double taking Chip and Howey!

Gives everything and does the jobs which he is asked to do, can't fault him for that.

Yes he has deficiencies but if we had his effort and attitude across the list we would be a lot better off than we currently are.

Well done Rohan and I hope there are more to come for you

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. Jefferson and Kentfield looked big and strong.  Petty was doing all the training. Adams looked like he was in rehab.  KE

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
