On twitter there is a photo of Clark, Howe Grimes and Trengove in the new gear. They have the NT tourism on the shorts the stars and collars are gone, looks a bit different

Wow. I cannot believe they kept this quiet for so long, they got a jumper printed off...

Jackson and the Board have got the ship pretty tight, I know there was a mention last week on here but I believe that poster got it from a regional AHG head from memory.

Nice to see smiles at a press conference. Looks pleasantly strange.

Well done MFC. These guys are a big company.

Cars Transport Logistics.

Couple more of these sponsorships and we can stand up unaided in a few years.

Go Demons.

Slightly off topic but why do people care about the stars and the collar? Is it just a Schwab thing? I couldnt give a rats.

However on topic, this is fantastic news and great not just financially but it gives players like Frawley the feeling that the club is moving forward and there is light at the end if the tunnel. A financially secure and stable club will definately impact on his desicion whether to re-sign or bail.

I cant get the bloody AHG jingle out of my head (rip off of ABC by the Jackson 5). curse you 6PR

Even since that clown Sattler has been a-holed from that station I just can't bring myself to tune in to 882. Every time I heard Karl Langdon come on I felt like taking a sledgie to the wireless.

well done PJ and co

Was only a matter of time before you landed us a big sponsor, and I have no doubt it was carefully researched and thought through as we are now a professional unit

i hope we got some massive $$$$ too

PJ on the AFL website mentions the club should be in the black next season. Great effort, even with the AFL money we will drop about a million this year

I dont get that either.

The stars were Schwab's way of reminding the club that the frustration of the past dive decades was at odds with the 68 years of VFL-AFL competition that went before. Once we were a giant of the competition, but for most people we are a St Kilda-like study in failure and under achievement.

Schwabby was telling us that as bad as we might have been recently, there was still reason to be proud. I too don't give a rats about the stars.

I have to say though that with PJ at the helm I am feeling better about the present and the future.

Hopefully there won't be a white box at the back.

It could be a pink box for all I care. What is important is the amount of dollars we will receive and what we can do with them to get us back as a competitive and respected club on and off the field.

Like I have said before, there won't be enough bronze in the world for the size statue PJ will deserve at the end of his tenure.

Great effort and great momentum.

I think that is it in terms of Major Sponsors.

And define 'unaided' - in 2012 we were given approximately $12.6m...

Collingwood was given $12.5m.

This is from the AFL Annual Report.

No club is 'unaided.'

I love the no fuss approach, no bells and whistles just a press conference before training, no financial details it basically is our business not yours, straight to the point no hype.

Speaking of Jackson, he's contracted till Oct 14 right? Then he moves off into the sunset?

youd think a bit more if front and back

but hey..

Mentioned on BF that Bartlett is close mates with the head of AHG, so he may have played a key role in this happening.

Not what you know, it's who you know.

Loving it.

I'm speechless. The last six months have been a whirlwind of positivity for the club.

Thank you Peter, Glenn and Paul....

What a ride!!!

Well you should. The stars represent the premierships and I'd love to see the neck and shoulders covered in them before I log out of here.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to
