And while his highlights don't show him playing in the middle, Lennon moved in there for the last handful of TAC up games and racked up good numbers.

He's my number 1 choice with pick 9, but only a whisker ahead of Freeman.

i heard somewhere that he is good mates with hogan which could help in keeping both

What i like about Freeman is the muscle he has in his legs. He is stated as 85kgs, and by the looks of that, particularly in a full body shot seen on demonland of him, a lot of that muscle is from the waist down.

If you've got strong legs, generally you are able to withstand tackles muxh better and remain on your feet. Have a look at Ollie Wines, his legs are enormous, and he goes alright in the middle.

Luke Dunstan is my smokey for pick 9. Runs hard both ways as it shows in his footage. Big strong inside midfielder who is a nice kick.

I liked the look of Lennon, seems a little like Stevie J, not as many tricks but I'd be happy with I'm.

Freeman looks nice, but needs to work on kicking a little, Sheed looked a gem.

He easily outclassed Kelly & Aish in the U18'S Champs and kicked 4 goals and is a big Ba$tard already,we need more goal kicking mids like Sydney.

Plus West Coast are desperate for him.

Sheed is a country boy from Kalgoorlie/Goldfields which is in the Subi zone

Hogan came through Marist Junior Footy Club in the Claremont District Zone

If West Coast were desperate for him, they would not of traded their pick 6.

People seem to think Sheed will be there at 11, obviously they didn't watch the nationals.

Sheed, Taylor and Kelly had the best nationals and by a fair bit.

That is the big stage.

I like Sheed, he was a class above, I liked Kelly and I think Lewis Taylor is a Sam Mitchell clone.

I'm not so sure they are desperate for Sheed at all.

On the comparison between Patrick Dangerfield and Nathan Freeman, "Danger" was drafted by the Crows as a bottom ager in the 2007 national draft when it was still possible to draft 17 year olds (they had to be born between 1 January and 30 April) i.e similar in age to O'Meara, B Crouch, Martin and Hogan. He initially stayed home and played mainly for the Geelong Falcons but I think he got a couple of games for the Crows in late 2008.

Freeman is basically at an equivalent stage to where Dangerfield was at the end of 2008. He's also a fair bit shorter than Dangerfield who is 189cm.

That's my thinking. Plus we could really use a flanker with a lethal boot. Helps our defence clear the ball as a few of our defenders don't know how to kick to a target.
