Two horse race between Colquhoun & Garlett with only 4 votes in it at this point.

As people have mentioned, Garlett could be a star. However he could also be a cancer. For me the negatives outweight the poisitives. We've already picked up Viney, Hogan & Toumpas this off season, I don't see the need to risk someone like Garlett personally. Also as mentioned he doesn't fit into the 4 pillars of drafting that we've been using, so I just can't see it happening.

As I mentioned earlier I'd be more inclined to go with Colquhoun myself with Haynes as my 2nd option. I've also been suprised at the lack of love for Wilkins. A lot of upside there I reckon.

Thought about it a little bit more today and after reading Swampfox's post regarding a pick up of a 200 cm ruckman, they may very well select Hannath if he trains well (of course), but the

second selection may very well be Ben Warren after hearing all that chatter during trade week.

Can anyone please tell me do we need to take two rookies or can we take one PSD and one rookie, as I thought we had the ability to mix up the number of players we have on the main list and rookie list as long as the total is 42 or 44. The reason I ask is that I thought we would have had pick 3 in both the PSD and rookie list which maybe a better option than pick 3 and pick 21 (or so) in the rookie draft.

Can someone please clarify the rules for me.

You can have as low as 38 primary list players and as high as 40. You can have as high as 6 rookies and as low as 0. The max amount of players you can have is 44.

We have 40 primary list players and 2 rookies, therefore we can only take 2 more rookies.

are you sure about the "as low as 0" bit? I thought it was "as low as 4"

Peter Yagmoor (just delisted by Collingwood).

I watched him live at Blacktown during last years NAB Cup and he was really good as a small defender. He won shedloads of ball, is a good user of the pill and appears to be a good athlete.

I reckon Collingwood will regret delisting him.

That is all.

I like the look of JASON PONGRACIC, seen a bit of him and looks the goods!

DOB: 21/04/94

Height: 183cm

Weight: 85kg

Club: Dandenong Stingrays/Vic Country

Terrible club culture at the Stingrays-we've made the same mistake before.

Agree .... he would be handy in red and blue. But Hannah and Nick Rippon for me

Can someone please explain what is the point of clubs delisting players and then saying, oh don't worry we'll pick them up in the rookie draft (if no-one else is interested)

Are they basically saying - you're alright, but we are going to see if we can get a better player, but if not, you're our fallback?

I think we did it with newton and meeson a couple of years ago, and a few clubs are doing it this year...

They do this so they can free up a spot on the senior list and redraft them on the rookie list.

the reason they did that with newton is because he had a contact, they wanted to delist him, but could not offord to pay him out.

HEAVEN OR HELL by The Oracle

Clashes between Melbourne and St Kilda are often described as battles between the forces of heaven and hell. However, based on recent performances, it’s hard to get excited about the forthcoming match between these two sides. It would be fair to say that, at the moment, both of these teams are in the doldrums. The Demons have become the competition’s slow starters while the Saints are not only slow to begin, they’re not doing much of a job finishing off their games either. About the only th

    THE BLOW by Whispering Jack

Narrm’s finals prospects took a crushing blow after the team’s insipid performance at Optus Stadium against a confident Waaljit Marawar in the first of its Doug Nicholls Round outings for 2024.  I use the description “crushing blow” advisedly because, although the season is not yet at it’s halfway mark, the Demons have now failed abysmally in two of their games against teams currently occupying bottom eight places on the ladder.  The manner in which these losing games were played out w

HALF FULL by KC from Casey

It was a case of the Casey Demons going into a game with a glass half full in their match up against the Brisbane Lions at Casey Fields on Saturday. As the list of injured and unavailable AFL and VFL listed players continues to grow and with Melbourne taking all three emergencies to Perth for the weekend on a “just in case” basis, its little brother was always destined to struggle. Casey was left with only eight AFL listed players from who to select their team but only two - an out-of-form

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have returned to the site of their drought breaking Premiership to take on the West Coast Eagles in what could very well be a danger game for Narrm at Optus Stadium. A win and a percentage boost will keep the Dees in top four contention whilst a loss will cast doubt on the Dees flag credentials and bring them back to the pack fighting for a spot in the 8 as we fast approach the halfway point of the season.

    WARNING by William from Waalitj

As a long term resident of Waalitj Marawar, I am moved to warn my fellow Narrm fans that a  danger game awaits. The locals are no longer the easybeats who stumbled, fumbled and bumbled their way to the good fortune of gathering the number one draft pick and a generational player in Harley Reid last year. They are definitely better than they were then.   Young Harley has already proven his worth with some stellar performances for a first year kid playing among men. He’s taken hangers, k
