Foxtel replayed round 3 Melb v Richmond today. Some of Cale's efforts left alot to be desired and was scathingly highlighted by Malthouse and the commentary team. For anyone like me who always has doubts about moving players on, it was a poignant reminder of how disappointing Cale could be. I can't help backing anyone who pulls on a Melbourne jumper but even for me his time was up. All the best Cale.

Its a shame he never fullfilled his potential for the Dee's, but the time was right.

Good luck to Cale.

I just hope he has a lot less horrible, tasteless, mean spirited gutless supporters to deal with at West Coast.

Not Likely. He will be eaten alive if he keeps dishing up that horrible, tasteless, gutless and insipid brand of football.

Cale will be lucky if he ever plays again.

I'm rapt he is gone.

His efforts were the icing in the worst year ever in the history of our great club.

He needs no sympathy from us .

What a waste of time and cash.

Hasta la vista El Morto.

For all the derisive comments about Cale, if he ever does apply himself to AFL then he could not be at a better club to do it. Competitive hard at it midfield needing a bit of run and home ground is Subi so should it suit Morton's outside style.

Now its up to Cale.....

he is a waste of space just wish he never came, to think Parick Dangerfield went no.10 in same draft

Prendergast has a lot to answer to, he set the club back another 5 years

I don't see how WC are in need of outside run.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
