It really looks like Pederson will be a Dee,all the mail is that he is coming to us.

Yep... just tweeted that he will probably be traded to us for a second round compo pick.

Posted

2nd round pick? If we get a compo pick in the 2nd round it would be straight after our viney pick wouldnt it? pick 27 sounds like a bit much to me.

Posted

If Nudge is correct. Pick 39 will come our way from the Saints or Pies with the Dawes trade. Its a second round pick that could be on traded for Pederson

As much as i'd hate to see rivers go, Pedersen is by far a serviceable piece in the back/fwd line and he will be a very nice pick up if it happens (most likely) :) Rivers has been a great servant for us and i wish him all the best if he does indeed leave.

Pederson 100% a Demon next year. He is keen. Now we wait to see where he'll play. In a forward pocket next to Mitch with Dawes at CHF - Cam doing 2nd ruck duties also.....loving the hard nosed approach to getting mature bodies, good people, we must win 8+ games now.

In the State of Play article on AFL.com, under North Melbourne it says "Pedersen and Ben Warren to Melbourne still in the mix" - what do we know about Warren and how would such a trade happen; at what cost? Or is this going to a two for the price of one kind of a deal? Anyone know anything more about this?

It's been talked about for a couple of weeks, at least on here, that he'll be delisted. If we were keen, he'd come via delisted player free agency in November or the PSD. Zero trade value.

is pederson a little overrated? I see him as a very Simular player to James sellar can't see any team needing two of these players I'm still of the very strong opinion we need some more mids in this draft or at the least trade our draft picks away for established mids.

My Kangas supporting friend gave a huge fist pump when I mentioned that we were interested in Warren. VFL standard

Pedersen can read the ball in the air and take one grabbers.

You can tell your friend that he will be delisted and if he goes anywhere the Kangas will get nothing.

I don't know if this guy is any good considering he can't get a game with north but we need a role field and like seller his tall and can play a number of positions.

Just hope we don't push out all our younger recruits which we have been playing crap for the past 6 years to get and fill our team with, just to delist them with second hand middle age players who can't get a game at there original club.

At end of the day I have faith in Neeld and if he think this is the man for the job then Im happy where getting him.

Now the next question is who will be delisted to make room for these new players?

Cam Pederson will be really good for us. Get excited!

He is the one I am most excited about! Can play almost anywhere & terrific size.

Followed him closely in his first year as he even cracked my Supercoach team.

Once compo picks are handed out tonight we will know more. He's expected to be a Demon. If our compo pick is band 4 or 5 that should do straight up but if we end up with pick 28 I can't see that being a straight swap.

If they took pick 35 of HMAC then i would think something in the 50'70 range would do it tbh

He played two games this year. Apparently they want him out of the club badly. If Terry Wallace is right they would take anything, even pick 68 would get the deal done.

I heard Wallace talking 4-5 rounders ect that like pick 70 odd or higher

I wonder what he's done to pi55 the people off at North so much that they desperately want him gone.

I'm sure due dilligence and character checks will be thoroughly carried out by Neeld that he won't be bringing any bad attitude or is a person that riles other players.

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
