Please reserve your serious rants and raves about Jack for elsewhere. I just thought it'd be fun to make light of what is an almost week by week byplay on this forum (and in the media) about where he's at and the blame that's often ridiculously laid at his feet (ie. 'we lost because he dropped a mark' was a favourite from over the weekend).

This thread takes a lighthearted swing at that sentiment. I'll get the ball rolling first ...

Tom Scully leaving. The real story is that Jack was jealous and could not stand having a rival No 1 pick at the club so he hounded and bullied Tom out of the club. He used to accost him every day after training and kick him on the knee. An eyewitness heard that Jack threatedned to go further and kneecap him if he didn't leave. I also heard that on the China trip constant bullying by Jack was the real reason Tom left early. He forced Tom to drink alcohol, smoke cheap Chinese cigarettes, eat deep fried foods and make out with Hello Kitty girls.

I swear its all true.

The filming of the moon landing was filmed in the basement of the Watts family home in downtown Brighton.....

It is also rumoured that the original plans for the H-bomb have J Watts signature at the bottom

    With Casey Fields basking in sunshine, an enthusiastic throng of young Demons fans formed a guard of honour for the evergreen and much admired 75-gamer Paxy Paxman. As the home team ran out to play, Paxy’s banner promised that the Demons would bounce back from last week’s loss to Brisbane and reign supreme.   Disappointingly, the Kangaroos dominated the match to win by 50 points, but our Paxy certainly did her bit.  She was clearly our best player, sweeping well in defence.

    HORE ON FIRE by Meggs

    The 40,000 seat $319 million redeveloped Kardinia Park Stadium was nowhere near capacity last night but the strong, noisy contingent of Melbourne supporters led by the DeeArmy journeyed to Geelong to witness a high-quality battle between two of the best teams in AFLW.   The Cats entered the arena to the blasting sounds of Zombie Nation and made a hot start kicking the first 2 goals. They brought tremendous forward half pressure, and our newly renovated defensive unit looked shaky.

    The Mighty Demons take on the confident Cats this Saturday night at the recently completed $319 million redeveloped GMHBA Stadium, with the bounce of the ball at 7:15pm. Our last game of 2023 was an agonisingly close 5-point semi-final loss to Geelong, and we look forward to Melbourne turning the tables this week.
