So glad he isn't a blokey thickhead.

This show is horrible - no wonder I barely watch it anymore - the horrible staged "spontaneous" gags like Crawfords dolls spewing all over Sammy are just horrible and pathetic. Who finds this funny? It is obviously contrived.

It's about as interesting as watching toast burn - which I see they've moved on to doing.

I stopped watching this programme many years ago but couldn't help set the Foxtel IQ to tape it because of Jack. Hope it's worth it and if not, there's still the old fast forward or, if it's really bad, the delete button.

Might be giving the delete button a workout I'd say. I feel awkward watching Sam during some of his segments

However, JT is a very sensible young man. Going to be a fine ambassador for the club for many years.

I watch it until they preview our game, which is often irritatingly the last game they get to, and all the while busily muting Brayshaw's add reading and rolling my eyes at the cr@p they come up with, it just aint funny anymore.

if you want to feel glum about the state of current day culture and what passes for entertainment alongwith a look at dhead bogan idiot Australia, tune into the footy show

if you are into the sport of football try another program

I firmly believe in the Footy Show curse, wherein anyone on the program inevitably plays poorly that weekend. Unfortunately Jack Trengove is the only player who will suffer from this curse this week.

Makes sense that most players would be mentally preparing to appear on the footy show which would take focus away from their game preparation, so they'd play worse.

I always wonder what life would have been like before IQ...

A wasteland probably.

Everyone has seen over the past week and a half how intelligent and sensitive Garry Lyon is. The Footy Show does not do him justice. I turned off years ago and only watched last night to see Captain Jack.

Bring back Uncle Doug, Capt Blood, Louie the Lip, Huttons Footy Frangers and everything else that was good in the world of Sunday's post footy entertainment.

Jack was great - hope to see more Demons players on the show this year.

The segment with his sister paying out on him was good value. But the Sam's mailbag bit with him doing puzzles was stupid, half the references were things outside his generation.

I think Rob Mac may have been extracting the urine...

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
