Honestly, if this Club manages to snare Chris Dawes, it'll be the biggest signing since, since, Moore and Templeton?

Must be some sort of a legend this Dawes character....

He's pretty good, big and strong and could become better if he was the main big bloke up forward, we need someone just like him, only 23 as well.

He's a very relaxed media performer and I'm sure TFS people can see that, but the last thing I would like to see is Watts becoming a regular on that 'nudge, nudge, wink, wink', mindless piece of carp. I watched the first twenty minutes last night to see how he went. On the odd occasion that i watch it I feel a mixture of shame and embarrassment (that I am watching it) and anger at the culture it perpetuates.

My only fear re Dawes is that he may be another Miller... shows a lot of promise but is unable to deliver it except for a few all too infrequent glimpses. Then again, I still believe he is definitely worth a go.

Funny how jack said that the whole club had changed since neeld's arrival, yet jack is yet to meet the coach.

I haven't met Neeld either but I know the club has changed quite a bit since he has arrived...

    Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields.     Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years.
