I read an article saying Carlton will be clearing a lot of people off there list at years end, we could do worse than make a play for Brock McLean to come home, DESPITE what his comments did to the club... No they would only suspend betting if they had recieved official word, my guess is that they have heard through (thier own) reliable sources which are pretty damn reliable he has at very least given a hand shake agreement... Maybe they are just working through the numbers or something like that, but rarely do betting agencies such as sportbet drop odds like they did if they didnt think it was a sure thing...

Odds dont drop like that unless something concrete has happened. A win is a win and ill take it. But let's be honest the dogs were crap for 3 qtrs and smashed us in the last... Why we couldn't stem the bleeding was a worry. I liked the style of footy we played, and I hope it continues. Few points: Watts is as good as people said he was, 4 goals and a match winning mark... I've been waiting for this. Nicho played really well but as someone said Griffen finished with 2 last qtr goals and had his own ball out there... Fitzy will come on, he is starting to find his feet... Ok so I did some digging and apparently he got really friendly with Kingsleys girlfriend or something similar... I dont care, I want to win... Also to suggest that he didnt drive the premierships and development of the players is silly, he initiated leading teams and set the tone for the club. And despite the fact Geelong won the premiership under Scott, Mark Neeld could have coached them to win the flag... All on the back of what Bomber built. If he is that much of a poisen let give it a miss, as mentioned above PJ would of known about the rumours / truths of what happened and I know for a fact he approached Bomber in the smallest of ways to gauge his feelings on it... What I was trying to say is IMO we should make a hard play for him like we are for Roo's.

Yes he probably brought all the sh!t on Essendon, but it was at the time a grey area... Lets not forget Dank was dealing with us also, im pretty sure Bomber didnt have anything to do with that... I also realise he was adamant he didnt want to even be considered but to be the best you need to get the best... Also can someone shed some light on an apparent new rule that says we cannot engage an already emploed assistant this year... I was told we had to wait until seasons end to sign anyone...?? I really do believe that we need to sign someone this season so the uncontracted players can get a taste of what he is like and he has a chance to convince them to stay...
