dunno about his romps, but he's getting involved with the Hells Angels is a bit of a worry. maybe we should put him on the back burner, after he's running with them.

survived his initiation, & colours are on the way.

Eddie would apparently see him as a perfect fit for Collingwood perhaps??

The number #18 Guernsey for Billy Stretch next year. Lock it in.

Think it might be taken next year but should become available the following year after Billy has earned it with a stellar season i

n a higher number.

The club seems keen for our father son picks to make their own name, 19 or 17 will both be free i reckon

I like 19 - he will be one better than his father.

hahaha man you need to relax and have a beer or something!

I am relaxed, I don't need a beer, but Stretch wasn't BOG.

Another report from the same game only had eyes for Pickett, while I saw a punter's review of the players in that match that didn't even mention Stretch, but also had Pickett BOG. Someone else who was there described Stretch as very good, but very outside, only a receiver.

Stretch is a bigger story and gets the headlines because of his background. And sure, he's developing nicely, but BOG. Nah.

I think we need to relax with this kid. There are players that have attributes that are likely to be transferable to senior Afl footy and some that are nice junior footballers.

Its early stages with this kid.

Completely agree, but I think it's a fair chance we will take him as a father-son selection, and what pick we have to use on him will make all the difference. Edited by Machsy

He isn't a top 5 pick so no real danger at this stage of anyone forcing us to use any higher than a 2nd round pick.We look like being somewhere in the first 4-5 picks at this stage.

it's an interesting one. 2nd round pick will be about 23 (?) so this would be a reasonably high pick for a half-fwd flanker

3rd round at around pick 41 then no problems

it will be upto about 4 clubs as to whether they would bid a relatively low 2nd round pick. fortunately don't expect there to be any sa clubs in that bracket.

let's hope he doesn't tear it up too much for the rest of the season

I know, but I think we'd like to have our 2nd round pick available for trading purposes if need be, and I also think there'll be some really solid talent available then too.

Stretch as a 3rd rounder is a very good, but also a realistic result, I think.

Billy is definitely a second/ third round pick.Quite small and very thin....would be cut to ribbons if he played in2015.But fast and a great kick like his old man...Will make it but body needs a lot of work.

I'd like him on our list because he wants to come to Melbourne. It would be a brave club to bid a pick in the top 20 on him given his size, so I suspect third round is looking likely at this stage, but there is still three months of footy before this is settled.

    TRAINING: Monday 20th January 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
