Well, well, well. He'd be feeling pretty bad tonight. I wanted to see us play against a team with him in it, but I guess he's Carlton's problem now.

But, he's named as an Emergency, so can't be injured! Don't tell me he's piked out of the big contest against his old side...! LOL

Henderson and Mclean out. that is ridiculously funny. Fev trade working nicely.

Warnock out is a blow. wonder why?

rivers can consider himself a lucky man. maybe being on the leadership gives you immunity from being dropped. can see this backfiring badly with no second key position down back.

Where did you get the idea Warnock was omitted through injury? It doesn't say that on any of the articles I can find.

Sigh..........no Brock.

Looks like we got a good deal with Gysberts!

absolutely. round 1 to Melbourne. if Gysberts can out perform Brock in his first year, there will be some embarrassed faces at Carlton over this.

Bugger...I was Hoping for a Serge Leonie Shootout style game.

Indeed... the books give off quite the odour when they're being cooked.

Lining up for the Bullants alongside R. Warnock.

I'm not one to bask in the misery of others, but come on, that is just the most perfect example of karma.

He's been sore all season. No surprise really.

Billy Brownless said tonight Brock wasn't sore and was "really, really" [censored] to be dropped for this game.

Yep, I can imagine Brock would be, but I agree with the decision from a club point of view for Carlton.

Good, it was his choice. Let's not Forget that Mr. Mclean is now trying to assist Carlton to win their 17th Flag. So whenever you wish him well remember that.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
