My initial thoughts were of seeing him knee the [censored] out of Maynard and Moore. This intrigued me, but was quickly overcome by fear of seeing him in the red and blue

Lawdy Lawdy NO! Some Journo wants me to click a story why he thinks this is a good idea?? Is he brain dead? Just wanting clicks? Both?

Big Cox is the last thing we need

"Good fit" should be banned from reputable journalistic organs. Unless, of course there is somewhere it can fit.

I never want to see that waste of flesh and bone in a MFC jumper.

Agree to a point. He looks horrible in a Melbourne jumper and don't really see how he fits our list, unless we could some how have him as a rookie or something, but saying he's a waste of flesh and bone is going a bit far. I know he's got a bit of arrogant Yank that you probably couldn't beat out of him, but asides from that he seems to be a decent enough bloke and unworthy of quite that level of vitriol.

I actually thought I was being restrained by saying that...

Each to their own I suppose.

We just recruited a veteran forward from the pies, the rest of the minutes within the team as a key forward go to Van Rooyen, Jefferson, Kentfield, Heath

It's a no from me. The guy's on his last legs and one of his rare assets (goal kicking set shots) is starting to disappear. Plus we're well stocked for ruck/forward options

But remember this is the guy that destroyed us in 2018 with 5 goals and quite frankly made our defence look inept that day, kicking goals where the 50 metre line meets the boundary line.

Saw the thread title and for a second thought I was on Tinder 😝

My experience of dating apps suggests that anyone spruiking their bigness is usually much less of a ruckman, and more of an undersized forward pocket. 😉

Expect Max Gawn, get Charlie Spargo 🤭

Ignoring all the outrage, but how is he a good fit, when we have Max, TC, Heath and AJ and JVR to pinch hit?

Yep it's always really hard to spot an arrogant yank, especially when you're on a plane full of them.

It's a no from me, but do you think he'll end up on an AFL list at all for next year?

Spew

Repeat

I have never ever ever seen anyone look [censored] awful in demon jumper.... until now.

Please god never let me see this thread again.

I'd have been open to this two years ago when Brown was wrecked and we may have avoided both the Petty forward and JVR second ruck fiascos, but no thanks in 2026.
