It's Game Day and the Demons take on the Blues in a sudden death final at the MCG. A win for the Dees will see them face Brisbane at the Lions' fortress at the Gabba and a loss will see them bundled out of the finals in straight sets for the second season in a row.

This is the most difficult situation we have faced since the year 2021, serving as a significant test for our team and individuals. It's time to show your true colors!

Go Dees!

Can’t wait for the bounce. Boys better respond. We’ll know early if we’re going to win this. I predict a hot start, the boys will want to get themselves in a position to have another crack the filth on the 30th.

Need to avoid being the first team in the current finals system to go out in straight sets two years in a row.

Wild to think we haven’t won a final since 2021.

We do but, it would be a very Melbourne thing to achieve a record like that!

Yeah, but

a) it will be great debate next year when we are top 4 again  and the heightened anxiety around can we be the first to go out 3x straight sets - I mean "how embarrassment!"

b) The thread of When will Melbourne break these Embarrassing Records, will get another notch.

I predict we will either win or lose and the fans will either be really happy or really sad.

Go Dees!!

We will win and fans will still be ambivalent because our forward line didn't kick a big enough score

After travelling from northern NSW to watch us shoot ourselves in the foot last week. Getting abused by the clowns that actually won. How can you be so angry when you won?

Watching one of our  champions being smashed and then denied justice, maybe it's time now for things to turn for us.

Maybe everything will click somehow.

Despite our injuries, we are running out games really well.

Please breathe fire tonight boys.

Lower your eyes

Take a breath and kick straight.

Against the odds, let's smash the blues and let's smash the AFL.

A premiership is still there for us if we want it.

I hate this league so much right now.

I love this club.

And no finals win at the G since 2018….we’ll change that tonight!

Just cannot see how Smith and Tmac as our two main talls are going to kick a winning score. Chandler and Pickett have barely fired a shot the last couple of weeks as well.

The brunt of it all will be left to Fritsch unfortunately.

Carlton have all the momentum and emotion wave going with them where as I question if the the mental and emotional toll from all the Brayshaw fallout will have an effect.

Prove me wrong otherwise Melbourne.

1000% this.

We're just making up numbers...

The "Is Goodwin the right guy" thread can then be reinstated for some good quality chat.

Seems to be a Carlton intra club going by the media.

Also we have umpire #22 so #freekickcarlton will be in full effect.

    TRAINING: Wednesday 13th November 2024

A couple of Demonland Trackwatchers braved the rain and headed down to Gosch's paddock to bring you their observations from the second day of Preseason training for the 1st to 4th Year players. DITCHA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I attended some of the training today. Richo spoke to me and said not to believe what is in the media, as we will good this year. Jefferson and Kentfield looked big and strong.  Petty was doing all the training. Adams looked like he was in rehab.  KE

2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
