Is Grundy sub? might balance Carlton's talls...

Letโ€™s go Dees. Will be watching from Rome. Please donโ€™t ruin my holiday!ย

jesus iโ€™m up late.ย

itโ€™s been a week

lets just get this [censored] done. we cannot end our season on this loss and Gus getting smashed off the ball.ย

cmon melbourne.ย

we are about to Witness greatness from Gawn Viney Trac n co. just watch them.ย

iโ€™m about to sleep but iโ€™m fired up!!

ย

This is the most difficult situation we have faced since the year 2021, serving as a significant test for our team and individuals. It's time to show your true colors!

Go Dees!

I predict we will either win or lose and the fans will either be really happy or really sad.

ย

Go Dees!!

If we arenโ€™t running through walls and ready to absolutely explode tonight we will loseย

Fire up boysย

Canโ€™t wait for the bounce. Boys better respond. Weโ€™ll know early if weโ€™re going to win this. I predict a hot start, the boys will want to get themselves in a position to have another crack the filth on the 30th.ย

Need to avoid being the first team in the current finals system to go out in straight sets two years in a row.

Wild to think we havenโ€™t won a final since 2021.

We do but, it would be a very Melbourne thing to achieve a record like that!ย

Yeah, but

a) it will be great debate next year when we are top 4 againย  and the heightened anxiety around can we be the first to go out 3x straight sets - I mean "how embarrassment!"

b) The thread of When will Melbourne break these Embarrassing Records, will get another notch.

Go Dees!!

We will win and fans will still be ambivalent because our forward line didn't kick a big enough score

After travelling from northern NSW to watch us shoot ourselves in the foot last week. Getting abused by the clowns that actually won. How can you be so angry when you won?

Watching one of ourย  champions being smashed and then denied justice, maybe it's time now for things to turn for us.

Maybe everything will click somehow.

Despite our injuries, we are running out games really well.

Please breathe fire tonight boys.

Lower your eyes

Take a breath and kick straight.

Against the odds, let's smash the blues and let's smash the AFL.

A premiership is still there for us if we want it.

I hate this league so much right now.ย

I love this club.

And no finals win at the G since 2018โ€ฆ.weโ€™ll change that tonight!

Just cannot see how Smith and Tmac as our two main talls are going to kick a winning score. Chandler and Pickett have barely fired a shot the last couple of weeks as well.

The brunt of it all will be left to Fritsch unfortunately.ย

Carlton have all the momentum and emotion wave going with them where as I question if the the mental and emotional toll from all the Brayshaw fallout will have an effect.ย

Prove me wrong otherwise Melbourne.ย

1000% this.

We're just making up numbers...

The "Is Goodwin the right guy" thread can then be reinstated for some good quality chat.

We just need to kick straight and win clearance. (It would be nice to hit up a few more targets inside 50 as well.)

ย

Seems to be a Carlton intra club going by the media.

Also we have umpire #22 so #freekickcarlton will be in full effect.ย

Epic battle alert. ย This Sunday, Casey Fields hosts a coachโ€™s showdownย pitting the wits of the master Mick Stinear (92 games, 71.7% winย rate)ย againstย hisย protรฉgรฉ Daisy Pearce (16ย games,ย 43.8%). • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chancesโ€”plenty of themโ€”but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Portโ€™s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmyโ€™s inclusive bannerโ€”"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwoodโ€™s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.ย

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.
