Should of been Woewodin over Laurie for mine.

aaaaaargh!   Never mind. lol.

Seriously , isnt Pink Lady the brand name or used to be of a certain street product in St kilda?  . just saying.

This would be one of those things that happened when you were living overseas - we helped facilitate breast cancer awareness and some men were so secure in their sexuality that they could wear pink/salmon clothing. Still there are some that projected their own homophobic self hatred but that’s a history lesson for a different mirror.

Wouldn't we have to travel if we come up against Brisbane or Port in the prelim? E.g. they finished higher on the ladder and so play a home game, or does us winning our Qualifying place us ahead of them from a home v away prelim perspective?

If you win the QF you get a home Prelim.

If you lose the QF or win an EF, the Prelim is an away game.

If we win our first QF regardless of location and regardless of opponent, our Prelim is at the MCG. Even if the opponent finished higher.

For those that have seen Laurie, could he potentially be the replacement for the Hunter wing next year and beyond?

Don't think so. Has never shown that at Casey IMO. The more likely for that role is Woewodin

I wonder if they will try to recruit Liam Henry for that position?

I think more likely Blake Howes hopefully.

Worrying the kind of first quarter Blues have just had against Suns. Hope we come out firing but as Binners said it was such a taxing game we could struggle early doors…

we will win.omen. Went to the local bws this morning bloke behind the jump dead set ringer for  ED

Not sure which JJ you're talking about. He certainly doesn't have pace.

He’s quicker than you think!

Who's going to be our sub?  Maybe Grundy...imagine that!

(I know, probably Spargo or JJ, how uninspiring)

This match is giving me nightmares. Imagine having to beat Sydney to stop Carlton from pinching fourth spot

Hawthorn won’t fold the way GC did, either.

If we fall 40 down, all hell is going to break loose.

A good start tomorrow will do wonders for our hearts.

With Carlscum winning in a close one today positions in the top 4 are heating up.

Tomorrow is going to be massive.

Destiny is in the hands of the Melbourne players themselves.

We cannot underestimate Hawthorn.

Yes, as mentioned by @titan_uranus, a good start is imperative as we need to take the umpires out of the equation.

To quell any doubt I AM being serious. I'm sure AFL HQ would love us to lose this game for the theatre it would create in the final round. I may be wearing a tinfoil hat but it doesn't mean I'm wrong!

So who do we think McGuinness will go to tomorrow?

Whoever he goes to it will be a learning experience. Tracc or Clarry.

played a fair chunk of time here at Casey

Howes originally started as a winger at Casey before being pushed to HB

Can see him taking this role on though no problems

We can't afford to drop this game. losing 2 of last 3 games is just not flag winning form.

Hawks will be tough but we will win. We have to.

Look I hope Bill goes well, but I reckon he isn't quite up to it

I’m expecting a decent 5 goal victory!
If we can’t be Hawthorn we don’t deserve a top 4 position.

And we know Carlton are sniffing up our butts for the double chance. We have to win and win well. Not to mention it would be embarrassing to lose in Gawn’s 200th.

Both Collingwood and Brisbane lost to Hawthorn.

They don’t deserve it either?

We’re back! That was fun. The Mighty Dees’ Season 10 campaign is off toa flying start with a commanding 48-point winover the Western Bulldogs, retaining the Hampson-Hardeman Cup in style. After a hard-fought first half in slippery conditions, the Dees came out in the second half and showcased their trademark superior class, piling on four goals in the third termand never looked back.

  • REPORT: Hawthorn

The final score in Saturday's game against Hawthorn was almost identical to that from their last contest three months ago. Melbourne suffered comprehensive defeats in both games, but the similarities ended there. When they met in Round 9, the Demons were resurgent, seeking to redeem themselves after a lacklustre start to the season. They approached the game with vigour and dynamism, and were highly competitive for the first three quarters, during which they were at least on par with the Hawks. In the final term, they lapsed into error and were ultimately overrun, but the final result did not accurately reflect their effort and commitment throughout the match.

  • CASEY: Box Hill

The Casey Demons ended the regular season on a positive note and gained substantial momentum leading into the finals when they knocked the Box Hill Hawks off the top of the VFL ladder in their final round clash at Casey Fields. More importantly, they moved out of a wild card position in the finals race and secured a week's rest as they leapfrogged up the ladder into fifth place with their decisive 23-point victory over the team that had been the dominant force in the competition for most of the season.
