@ 200cm lol go figure

Can we try Petty up fwd?

As good a game as you will see as far as pressure goes.

History says we lose this.

Can he even jump?

Easily losing a ruck contest to Silvagni was quite telling

Just quietly Lever has cost us 3 goals.

I mean he did play on because no-one was on the mark, he just happened to be out of bounds at the time

Cripps did it earlier. All G said ump.

We just need to limp across the line. This has been really, really hard. Blues are up and about as they should be, finals at stake, Paddy wants to be there. If we do not bring it this quarter we can forget about anything in September.

I am dead serious, another game we have led at every change. If we drop this then we clearly have a mental issue at play. We need to get over the line, the world of good that will do mentally.

Can we please try and activate Harmes in the last qtr for anyone of Fritsch, Spargo, Pickett or Sparrow.

What an [censored] and an expensive run onto the ground by that moron

Biggest cheer of the night

Gap between our best and worst is too far. We look brilliant one moment and then nuff-nuffs the next. Apart from Melksham, our F50 play still lacks class.

Jake Lever needs to stand up if we are going to win this.

what was our kick out strategy with 50 seconds on the clock ?

Sparrow was dead set all by himself on the 50 in the corridor. FMD this kick in play is just infuriating. If you can my hit that kick with no pressure, what the f are you playing afl for.

Everyone loves playing their best footy against us don't they?

He can panic at times, but love his courageousness and continually backing himself in. We could do with more of his self-belief.

We have a 2 day minus travel break on this mob, we seriously should be running over the top of them. No point peaking fitness in the last week of September if we aren't there

Not easy being defending champs. Come on Melbourne…just win this any way possible.

Gus is playing so well

Practically marking his own kicks.

And kicking them into the air without looking and most are turnovers.

You won't believe it. Long Down the line on the members wing.

Although that's the time to do it

Wayward kicking for goal, dump kicks inside 50 and some baffling umpiring all contributed to the Dees not getting out to an an early lead that may have impacted the result. At the end of the day the Demons were just not good enough and let the Hawks run away with their first win against the Demons in 7 years.

  • NON-MFC: Round 09

Round 9 kicks off out west with the Dockers hosting a Collingwood side resting several stars. Fremantle need to make a statement on their home deck after some disappointing form on the road, while the Magpies will be keen to maintain their Top 2 position. Friday night sees a must-win clash between two sides desperate to stay in touch with the eight. St Kilda have shown glimpses while Carlton are clinging to relevance after a flat start to the season. Saturday’s twilight game at Marvel pits the Bombers against a struggling Sydney outfit. Essendon can’t afford another close match against a lower-ranked side, while the Swans risk sliding down the ladder even further. Up in Darwin, the fourth-placed Suns will look to extend their stay in the top four. The Bulldogs have hit their stride with three big wins on the trot and will be very keen to consolidate on their momentum. The always fiery Showdown looms as pivotal for both clubs. Adelaide are eyeing a spot in the Top 4 with a win, while Port Adelaide’s season could slip away if they drop another game and fall further behind the pack. Sunday begins with a yawn fest between Richmond and West Coast. The Tigers need to bank the points to stay clear of the bottom two, while the Eagles are still chasing their first win of the year. The Giants face one of the league’s toughest road trips as they travel to GMHBA Stadium to face the Cats. With GWS at risk of a third straight loss, Geelong will be eager to consolidate their position inside the eight and start their climb up the ladder. The round wraps up with the top-of-the-table Lions heading to Ninja Stadium to take on the second-last Roos. The Lions should easily take care of the struggling Roos who might be powerless against the best in the comp. Who are you tipping and what are the best results for the Demons?
