Happy Hunt retains his spot, but the pressure is on to keep it

Good decision- thank you Goody for not changing things too much after out best 4 quarter effort in months

I’m happy with this. Gus to play more midfield which strengthens us even more considering Adams is out for the Pies

Please just smash them!

Great to see BB back in the side. hopefully he's fully fit and primed for finals

That’s a good team.

Let’s see how good this pony trick is…

‘Steady as she goes’ after last week’s outstanding win.  Very comfortable with that!

Goody said BB is feeling the best about his body than he has in 12-14 weeks.  So he has clearly been carrying the knee all year

Getting him primed for finals

Love Demonland

This was the only change likely given the big win but we still managed 18 plus pages in the weekly change thread

Great team....Only 2 missing from our premiership side. Melk n Hunt replacing TMac n Harmes.

Hunt played his role, gave us some line breaking run we've been misssing off HB for a while.  Allowed Gus to go into the mid field

BB will need a KTD from the Pies and is a slight step up on the Weid ️️

Positive Lingers!!

Had to kill time somehow until the big one DJ.

JVR named as an emergency ahead of Weid. Have the match committee ruled a line through Weid's name?

Reverse psychology, trying to get them to play some tempo footy so we can get numbers behind the ball.

Even if not, it will feel that way to Sam.  Will either melt under his hat like the wicked witch or steel himself to have a point to prove.

Sad for him he won't have a game to do it in this weekend though.

Well anyonev s better than Weid but does BBB give a sense of focusing the entries to 50 and taking the game by the scruff of the neck.

I guess the coach has to work with what he's got and its too late now yo try something new out of Casey.

Sigh..they won a premiership when no one really saw them coming...this isn't that

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
