You'd be thoroughly disappointed to give birth to sparrow. What a disappointment

Did I miss some very obtuse attempt at irony, or are you really an absolute <person who tosses things>?

To be honest all of our disposal, decision making, and forward craft skills have been atrocious tonight'

Really? How is this necessary

Dogggas definitely still injured

Hasnt leapt at it all night

I absolutely loathe this ground. It’s the worst football ground in the AFL. I’d love to know how many throw ins there are per game.

Bear in mind this is approximately the time last year where we had a flat couple of weeks (vs Hawks and the loss to the dogs) that is widely reputed to have been due to our training loads. The flatness we are showing here is almost certainly for the same reasons.

That’s what it looks like. Slow off the mark tonight

Geelong just seemed to be working harder than us. Better running contest to contest and have more numbers at the drop of the ball. Also helps they're winning clearances. Are we loading again?

We could pinch it but have to up our game around the contest. Been very sloppy all game, our touch seems a little off.

Gawn battling on but looks very under done.  Not sure why we dont just rest him at CHF from here and push all in on Dogga on the ball!!

Happy if we just take it on and play fast and loose by 5 than play conservative and lose by 2-3. We really shouldn't be this close

Cmon we’re better than than that.

It all comes down to the midfield. If Trac, Oliver, Viney and Gawn can’t run over the top here, the game is done.

What a [censored]

Get rid of this Muppet @Demonland

This can either go two ways. We lie over and this game is 6+ loss. Or we give it a crack and take on the game and we can steal it.

First 2 mins will tell all. If the Cats kick the first , game over.

Smalls need to lift. Kozzie and Spargo fire up please. We don’t deserve it but we could pinch this.

  • PREVIEW: West Coast

It was bad enough that the Melbourne Football Club created yet another humiliating scenario inside its wretched season at Marvel Stadium last Sunday, but the final insult is that it has been commanded to return to the scene of the crime to inflict further punishment on its fans this week. Incidentally, if this match preview, of a game that promises to be one of the most unattractive fixtures in the history of the game, happens to cut out of your computer screen three quarters of the way through, it’s no coincidence. I’ll be mirroring the Demons’ lacklustre effort against St Kilda from last Sunday when they conceded the largest last quarter turnaround for victory in the history of the game.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

When looking back at the disastrous end to the game, I find it a waste of time to concentrate on the final few moments when utter confusion reigned. Forget the 6-6-6 mess, the failure to mark the most dangerous man on the field, the inability to seal the game when opportunities presented themselves to Clayton Oliver, Harry Petty and Charlie Spargo, the vision of match winning players of recent weeks in Kozzy Pickett and Jake Melksham spending helpless minutes on the interchange bench and the powerlessness of seizing the opportunity to slow the tempo of the game down in those final moments.
