I know there is another Segment on Clayton Oliver, But I must say that the Collingwood ferals ARE A DISGRACE!! Every last one of them that Booed a very worthy winner of the Queens Birthday medal, has brought shame and humiliation on their club. That they have tarnished a very good win by their team is an indictment on the supporter base that is universally hated for the feeble minded and intellectually Bereft of some supporters. I am Appalled!!

They've learned nicely from the deadhead Essendon fans who boo Collingwood's medal winners on Anzac day.

As bad as each other.

The day you care what a filth supporter thinks is a sad day.
They are so far below us you should already know their ability to make any sound that’s coherent is very very limited.

I have been following AFL for just 6 years now but I dare say there are only a handful of opposition supporters I like or at least can tolerate.

Collingwood, Carlton, Essendon, Richmond, West Coast, Port up there in the "Most hated" category for mine.

Collingwood supporters are a special breed of gross, honestly the Boo's you were hearing may have just been them trying to talk but their lack of education, teeth and hygiene in general does make it difficult for them

I for one say we let them celebrate their June premiership they seem to think they've won

Who cares? Supporters of all teams boo. They probably (justifiably) thought the medallist should have come from their team. Least of our worries at the moment.

The filth were booing us before we even entered the arena, it was like an Essendon crowd out there, just with less teeth, longer criminal records and worse B.O.

And our fans were booing Ginnivan in the opening minutes despite never playing a game against us. Don't hold your breath waiting for rational behaviour by footy fans.

Correct. Best to focus why Melbourne habitually fails in crunch games, and why nobody respects the club. Was 2021 an aberration? It is looking like it, sad to say.

[censored] fans have history of going the best players in the comp. Gary Ablett jnr used to cop it . Clarry is approaching that tier

And therein lies a reason why there are humanoids who hate the filth.

To be fair that kid is a [censored] burger not the best clearance player in the game 😂

Spot on. When Clarry’s name was read out I instantly thought of the response to Pendlebury’s ANZAC Medal in 2019.

Good luck explaining irony to a filth supporter.

Was that the same group of supporters that took the moral high ground after Essendon supporters booed their beloved Pendles

Today was a reminder of how feral they are. Left with a minute left and copped all the abuse as we walked the aisles, and this was in the MCC. Typical snow jokes. Season over stuff. They never win and celebrate, they antagonise and bait opposition fans looking for a fight. It’s just how they roll.

Think there was a bit of a collective gasp of shock in the crowd when he won which then the boos followed. Cox should have won it.

Collingwood supporters are the most disgusting least evolved humans going around. You should have seen the full blown crackhead on the train letting the C word fly and getting stuck into Melbourne fans. I took my scarf off because I was on my own and genuinely uncomfortable.
They are, for the most part, the least educated most inbred group of delusional ferals going around. Will cheer a twice accused sexual predator but boo a gun player #humanityweeps

He has 43 touches, 10 more than the next best. Cox only influenced the game once his opponent was off the ground with an injury he caused.

[censored] off clown 🤡

Collingwood supporters are, in the main, society’s detritus. They’d boo Santa for supporting the swans

having said that I remember Melbourne supporters in late 90s finals making racial comments towards I think the wiz

If we won and Maynard won the medal as if there wouldn't be boos...

Yep, mostly from me.

Despite a spirited third quarter surge, the Demons have slumped to their worst start to a season since 2012, remaining winless and second last on the ladder after a 39-point defeat to Essendon at Adelaide Oval in Gather Round.

  • GAMEDAY: Essendon

It’s Game Day, and the Demons are staring down the barrel of an 0-5 start for the first time since 2012 as they take on Essendon at Adelaide Oval for Gather Round. In that forgettable season, Melbourne finally broke their drought by toppling the Bombers. Can lightning strike twice? Will the Dees turn their nightmare start around and breathe life back into 2025?

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

As the focus of the AFL moves exclusively to South Australia for Gather Round, the question is raised as to what are we going to get from the  Melbourne Football Club this weekend? Will it be a repeat of the slop fest of the last three weeks that have seen the team score a measly 174 points and concede 310 or will a return to the City of Churches and the scene where they performed at their best in 2024 act as a wakeup call and bring them out of their early season reverie?  Or will the sleepy Dees treat their fans to a reenactment of their lazy effort from the first Gather Round of two years ago when they allowed the Bombers to trample all over them on a soggy and wet Adelaide Oval? The two examples from above tell us how fickle form can be in football. Last year, a committed group of players turned up in Adelaide with a businesslike mindset. They had a plan, went in confidently and hard for the football and kicked winning scores against both home teams in a difficult environment for visitors. And they repeated that sort of effort later in the season when they played Essendon at the MCG.
