Should take the media pressure of us.

I look forward to the AFL announcing its own investigation  with threats of AFL imposed suspension.

Well hopefully people jump on this now.

Can I just ask what goes through people's minds when they post this on social media? Did he not realise the implications?

What's the bet the AFL doing nothing?

It might help explain the brain fades and need for special leave.

Btw, Lachie Hunter is ready to come back from 'personal' leave after a convenient 6 week break...

The bulldogs are quite adept at using smoke screens and finding nothing after their own investigations

Maybe Tom Morris got too close to the truth of what happens at the kennel...

The Bulldogs are investigating?!?!?

The AFL and the Police should be investigating.

I'm not jumping to conclusions here, but he's put himself into a posiiton where this demands a drug test.

If guilty a years suspension. He's the most popular player in the game. Do that shiz off line you muppet if you're boring enough to do it.

Talent is wasted on the dumb

Bulldogs will pull the mental health card and that will kill the story quick smart.

Of all opposition supporters, I have alway felt the Footscray people were okay. I never had any dramas going to see the Deez at the Western oval in the '70s and '80s. Once again, Footscray people have been noice to us Demons. Thank you for the gift BS.  You are forever in our hearts.

I recall a few years ago Caroline Wilson said the AFL bans commentators from media reports where it might affect a player's mental health.  iirc it was when Jack Stevens was hospitalised after being stabbed.  She said the media hold back a lot of stories because of the AFL edict.

Watch this Bailey Sniff Smith episode disappear down the same rabbit warren.

The very same rabbit warren his alleged assault on someone on the GC last year went, after the alleged victim was transported to hospital, police investigated but no charges and the bulldog's did their usual 'nothing to see here' report.

Neil Mitchell's view about footballers is that you're no dealing with Einsteins. Hard to argue with him after this week's events

Edited by one_demon

All I'm going to do is reflect on how proud I am that the first source to tell me about the Demon's dinner fiasco was the club itself.

Bailey Smith is, indeed, the new shiny toy. Gerard Whateley will quickly shift his focus from May to Bailey, claiming that everything is disgusting and that the AFL needs to conduct another investigation on top of the May investigation, as well as the investigation that will undoubtedly take place next week when Toby Greene is scheduled to put his foot in it somewhere.

I have been saying for years that because you can play football well does not necessarily make you a rocket scientist.

Disagree.

The narrative is already being shaped:

May - 'He has history this bloke. Horrible look. So much damage. Obviously a trouble maker....'

Smith - 'We need to think about his mental health. Poor fella must be struggling. Needs our support...'

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
