If  he plays anywhere this weekend I will be surprised, Casey an out side chance IMO.

In the ones. 9 then 10 day breaks after Saturday.

Nope still 3-4 weeks away.

Yeahhhh I'm probably not going to pay much attention to your injury 'information'...

If fit he should be straight in the seniors. One of our best players.

Is the intent of this survey to ascertain whether we think Salem should play in the Seniors this weekend?

Because if it is; this survey will not get you that data..

Going from Goodies presser, even though he said the four would be back, he also didn’t say if they were all a lock to come back in the seniors.

So from that, I’ll say Langdon, Tom & Harmes are a lock… think Salo will get a run in the two’s before returning for QB

3-4 is the running joke for Melb injuries. How do you know I’m wrong with langdon? He hasn’t played yet.

I've been on the fence with this one, but with other rotations and Langdon/Tomlinson and others having high ToG%, i think we will be able to play and manage him on Saturday.

That being said it is a risk if injuries occur elsewhere and we need a big shift from him.

In conclusion ?

Just now, whatwhat say what said:

no, it's not; 4-6 is the running joke!

Nick Smith. He will be a good player for us once he gets over that injury. Any week now .

I was convinced he was going to be Petracca levels good for us if only he could get his body right. Oops

If Casey were playing after the seniors, I could see a situation where he starts as a medical sub in the seniors and plays up to a half of footy if we cop an early injury.

However given that Casey play before the seniors, I'd expect he plays one game at Casey and returns for Queens Birthday.

If Rivers has another poor game this weekend, he goes out for Salem for Queens Birthday.

We need Salem's class and composure.  from what I hear from former players, the second week back is the hardest to get up for. As we have a 9 day break it is perfect

Will depend on how much work they've been able to get into him, but I'd think Casey

Goody once said that they train as if they were in a game. I believe Salem has been training with the main group for more than two weeks, which would be as intense as playing in the vfl. In that case, he should be ready to play in the seniors.

Generally when a player is training with the main group and listed as "test" in the injury report, they aren't 5 weeks away.

Week in the ressies to get some match fitness. Ten weeks off is a substantial amount of time.

Yep yep.!!

  • CASEY: Richmond

The match up of teams competing in our great Aussie game at its second highest level is a rarity for a work day Thursday morning but the blustery conditions that met the players at a windswept Casey Fields was something far more commonplace. They turned the opening stanza between the Casey Demons and a somewhat depleted Richmond VFL into a mess of fumbling unforced errors, spilt marks and wasted opportunities for both sides but they did set up a significant win for the home team which is exactly what transpired on this Anzac Day round opener. Casey opened up strong against the breeze with the first goal to Aidan Johnson, the Tigers quickly responded and the game degenerated into a defensive slog and the teams were level when the first siren sounded.
