Go Dees.

The girls have seen what it takes to bring home the cup. This is the prefect chance to show the Mens team how things should be done. You don't really need to wait 57 years for a flag.

I think the Women can bring home the bacon if everything goes right. Become club legends girls. Don't allow room for regrets post game. 100% effort for 100% game time and you can hoist the cup.

The girls are very capable of getting the job done today, but up against an all time great side, it'll be a tough game.

Seeing Daisy lift the cup would be almost as satisfying as seeing Max and Goody do it.

The pioneer club in women’s football is up against the modern day power house.

Let’s make it a double today!!!

More like vs SA state team.

Go girls, get the ball out of the packs and run like the wind & kick straight!

Would be a huge win against all odds!

Go Demons!!

This team have no shortage of heart and guts. I know they’ll leave nothing in the locker today

We have to go toe to toe on the inside and try to break even in this area. No easy task. The Crows inside midfielders are brutes.

Bannan is a match winner as she proved in the prelim. Nobody can match her speed so we have to get the ball to her in space

Tayla Harris has to be more involved today.

Will be absolutely rapt if Daisy lifts the cup. We’re going to have to play at our absolute best to win. It’ll take a mighty effort but I think we will do it.

In a repeat of last year’s GF experience, I’ll be on the couch with my two girls cheering loudly. After bangbangbang I excitedly busted open a packet of Tim Tams for the kids, which is their standout memory!
I promised that if successful this GF, we would do Tim Tam Slams with a cup of Milo!
But win, lose or draw, what a great thing it is that my kids have witnessed the Demon boys and girls playing off in grand finals within 6 months of each other. That girls can look up to heroes like Daisy, Karen, Tayla and know they can participate, compete and belong - just like the boys. What these AFLW pioneers have done for the next generation of girls cannot be understated and should be celebrated.
CARNADEES, put in your best show today and we hope you can bring home the cup!!
❤️💙

Our women's team have been one of the top sides of the competition pretty much the whole time it's been up and running and have got so close to GF appearances before that I sense they have well and truly earnt their place to take part in today's match.

Hopefully the experience of players like Dasiy (10) and Paxman (3) who have played in multiple premerships at state level has an influence on their team mates.

Looking forward to the game - GO THE MIGHTY DEMONS!!

We have to get off to a much better start than last time we played them.

It would just be brilliant if we could win and make it the double.

Harris winning a flag after 2 failed goes would justify her recruiting and be a good story for her.

I know we have players like Mithen and Paxman who have been there since the start but gee winning for Daisy should be the motivation. She has just been a pioneer of women's footy. Her holding up the cup would just be the icing on the cake.

We will not win playing our usual style. We got smashed there last time

hopefully Stinnear has some moves up his sleeve. Manic attack mode won’t work as they defend well and counter on us

more toey about this than last year's aflm gf vs footscray - saw that as a total 50-50 whereas the crom are an absolute powerhouse in aflw

CARN THE DEES

Out or interest what is the meaning or background behind Crom?

This will be a tough ask but the one thing our girls have in common is guts and plenty of them. I know they will give it their all.

1st flag for the year.
Go get it girls.

TBH I can’t see us beating them there, but hopefully I am wrong. We won the PF with Harris, Hanks, Hore , Scott and a few others playing terrible games.

If these players play great footy and the rest lift, well who knows.

Need to be able to weather their physicality, get the ball to the outside and make them run

crows supporting mate of mine has used it for years; i thought it originated from mislabelled merch, but accoring to this, stolen from a bigfooty from april, 2021, it's a supporter-led thing that ended up making a fair whack of cash for fight mnd:

Basically 5 years ago some lady on Adelaide Crows Pride forum said 'Go the Crom' after the win or something. A few supporters tried to get it going on and off for the next 4 years.
When we were crap last year it took off being regularly used on Facebook.
Adelaide Crowject Podcast have sold beanies with Crom on them at $25 each. Proceeds have gone to MND. I think they've made at least 5 grand for the charity maybe more. With that increasing due to the high demand.

aunty made a vid about it too: https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=2500352820269500

MATCH SIM: Friday 7th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Tommy Sparrow was here last week in civvies and wearing sunnies. He didn’t train. Today he’s training but he’s wearing goggles so he’s likely got an eye injury. THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years. The big fall came in 2024 with a collapse into the bottom six and a 14th placing. At Casey, the 2022 VFL p
