Best wishes to Walla and I hope things work out for the best for him.

I just like watching him play.  How many football players get a song written about them?

I understand there is family in trouble in NT.

I gather you might be alluding to Liam Jurrah and the family troubles that led him to return back to his home.

Tippa is a top end Tiwi Islander, Jurrah from desert country Yuendumu, Central Australia. They are quite different cultures. Not all indigenous Australians are the same, or even comparable.

As I recall our own Austin Wonammeri was  in a similar situation and never came back near his dynamic best.

Good luck Tippa …… hope you can get back to your best (except v MFC of course).

Wonammeri did end up playing some good footy for NT Thunder I think it was in the NEAFL (Basically QLD/NSW combined state league) as few years ago.

Why are we posting about the injectors?

We're not...

We're posting about a young man going through a difficult time.

He's a joy to watch when he's not playing us.

Plays with great flair and spirit, I wish him all the best and hope to see him back out there.

...and if he's not, then at least be in a good place with his life.

Fair comment, I’d just rather read posts about MFC on Demonland that’s all.

I hate the Bombers above all others, I like Tippa. I am glad he is back

Yep my hatred for that club is separate from my respect for individual players, and my empathy towards people struggling with mental health issues.

He's also a super fun players to watch.

I'm glad he's back

.. and glad he's not playing us tomorrow night

He looks heavy, am very glad he's not playing us, he can be a total wrecking ball when he turns it on.

Awful news. One of the true excitement machines of the AFL when he's up and running, wish him all the best.

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
