Nice, looks fantastic. The blue hat really compliments your red face as well

I also ordered this jumper through the mfc website a couple days after the granny but the website said it's expected release is the 13th of December?

Seems you have friends in high places! Or a bit quicker on the mouse clicks than I was.

I ordered it the night of the Grand Final or whenever it became available. I don't think I got preferential treatment.

Well it wouldn't be out of place for demonland to get some recognition from the club in some form, would be well deserved for what you guys have given us as a community 👍

😦

I’m still told that it won’t be available until November.
I’m officially jealous

Looks like Queensland has even banned the posties from Danistan.

Received zero to this point.

Got my second order from the MFC store today... And the Premiers record came with a torn front cover because the idiots in the shipping warehouse stuffed the mouse mats and a magnet into the front cover...

Urgh. This is going to be a hassle to sort out...

Do not lose heart.  I received my first batch about a week ago.

I have had Shipment Notifications but nothing has arrived yet to suburban Adelaide. I would think Australia Post is getting smashed and it will only get worse as we approach Christmas. Be patient. We'll all get our goodies in due course.

Has anyone received any notifications about the official memorabilia?

These bad boys arrived today, along with a new jumper for the 3yr old. I ordered 3 hats (2 for the kids and 1 for me) only 2 have arrived haha.

What an ensemble, little wonder then that "women want him and men want to be him".

Has anyone who ordered the Premium poster had it delivered yet?

I have a silver foil and members poster coming from mark knight, heard nothing. I have the frames ready to go. I enquired today with herald sun and was told they would be sent out next week.

Just got mine up in ACT.

Bit later than I would like to put up an enormous flag on my house facing the street but the heathens up here deserve to know who won.

Came home from work yesterday to two parcels - one from Footy Shop in Tasmania with a tshirt and a mask, the other the Demon Shop order I placed on the night of the grand final with a tshirt, the black New Era cap (love it!!), and two stickers (rectangle Mark Knight one and a car bumper one).

Still have the rest of the AFL Store merch to come (a beanie, another tshirt, drink bottle, two books, two pins, DVD).  Probably not expecting that for a while, unless they split orders.

My order was placed within an hour of the game finishing.

Heard nothing for a month and no action shown on my account since the order was placed.  After checking with the Demon shop several times (who were very helpful and apologetic), I received an email this week saying it had been shipped (from the warehouse to Aussie Post).  However, on checking my account most of the items weren't included and now are not available for re-order.  I can only imagine that thousands of orders were filled before mine.  One would think they would fulfil the orders roughly in the sequence submitted but not the case apparently.

Really disappointed to have missed out on those items.

Still waiting for Aussie Post email advising a tracking number...

Was this from the jumper auction?

Yes it was, bit of a battle but I got it in the end.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding it LH, but surely you shouldn't need to re-order anything, and the items not shipped first time around will be sent when they're available.

The 'not available' would only apply to new orders.

Or have they refunded you?

I would assume that you will still receive those items. Surely they have to honour the order even if it is now sold out for new orders or on pre-order for anyone ordering those items today.

I know it's frustrating but I'm sure we'll all receive the items we have already ordered. There are many factors as to why we have not received some or all of our orders placed within hours or days from the final siren. Some items weren't ready to ship straight away and were pre-order from the beginning. No doubt the demand has been huge so there will be logistic issues with fulfilling and packing those orders to be shipped. Then there is the well documented delays with Australia Post due to COVID.

I guess the silver lining is that the club is going to have a massive windfall just in terms of merchandise and I would imagine it will be even larger than was originally anticipated by the Club.

Hopefully this will also be the case with Memberships too going into the coming years.

  • PREVIEW: St. Kilda

The media has performed a complete reversal in its coverage of the Melbourne Football Club over the past month and a half. Having endured intense criticism from all quarters in the press, which continually identified new avenues for scrutiny of every aspect, both on and off the field, and prematurely speculated about the departures of coaches, players, officials, and various employees from a club that lost its first five matches and appeared out of finals contention, the narrative has suddenly shifted to one of unbridled optimism.  The Demons have won five of their last six matches, positioning themselves just one game (and a considerable amount of percentage) outside the top eight at the halfway mark of the season. They still trail the primary contenders and remain far from assured of a finals berth.

  • REPORT: Sydney

A few weeks ago, I visited a fellow Melbourne Football Club supporter in hospital, and our conversation inevitably shifted from his health diagnosis to the well-being of our football team. Like him, Melbourne had faced challenges in recent months, but an intervention - in his case, surgery, and in the team's case, a change in game style - had brought about much improvement.  The team's professionals had altered its game style from a pedestrian and slow-moving approach, which yielded an average of merely 60 points for five winless games, to a faster and more direct style. This shift led to three consecutive wins and a strong competitive effort in the fourth game, albeit with a tired finish against Hawthorn, a strong premiership contender.  As we discussed our team's recent health improvement, I shared my observations on the changes within the team, including the refreshed style, the introduction of new young talent, such as rising stars Caleb Windsor, Harvey Langford, and Xavier Lindsay, and the rebranding of Kozzy Pickett from a small forward to a midfield machine who can still get among the goals. I also highlighted the dominance of captain Max Gawn in the ruck and the resurgence in form in a big way of midfield superstars Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver.
