Thought maybe a thread to discuss merchandise and memorabilia would be a good idea.

https://shop.melbournefc.com.au/premiers/ is a starting point - looks like plenty might have already sold out (e.g. the adults guernsey).

Do they still do DVDs of the replay? I don't have a DVD player but what if the internet ever drops out when I need to watch a replay?

I'm also going to buy a printed newspaper tomorrow, for the first time in years.

I'm waiting for The Banner Lady to to do a large premiers banner.

This small list plus a signed and framed premiers gurnesy which cost $2074.

I have done my part.

GO DEES !!!!!

Spent $333. They were still adding items as I was there - I will check tomorrow too.

The Dees face mask is so 2021!

No joke but would the local Woolies have the paper? I don’t think there is a news agency within 5km of home.

If I had a spare couple grand I'd get the signed  jumpers at $2k-$9k a pop.

But I'll settle for some of the above and also couple of WEG Premier posters.

That’s a bit much. I’d happily pay a few hundred for one though if the club made them available as official merch.

Available at demon shop this year

Is it just me or is the premiership merch now all on sale at a 10% discount? If so, that’s a bit rough after I bought stuff last night at full retail.

Dunno, but I clicked the link they sent me yesterday, no discount was shown, had another look today, 10% across the board.

I just double-checked what I bought last night as per prices in the confirmation email vs. current prices, those ones looked the same…

Which particular item(s)?

I got mine at our very first match at the Demon shop, a lady came up to me and ask if i had my scarf yet and i said no, here you go, and gave me one.

So it's thanks to her for handing me one😀

Ticketmaster have commemorative Grand Final tickets on sale for $15. I gave my ticket to my cousin but I’ve grabbed this one as a momento!

Can someone explain what the "upgrade" option is for the signed guernsey?

Why is it 5 times the price of the original?

  • REPORT: Richmond

The fans who turned up to the MCG for Melbourne’s Anzac Day Eve clash against Richmond would have been disappointed if they turned up to see a great spectacle. As much as this was a night for the 71,635 in attendance to commemorate heroes of the nation’s past wars, it was also a time for the Melbourne Football Club to consolidate upon its first win after a horrific start to the 2025 season. On this basis, despite the fact that it was an uninspiring and dour struggle for most of its 100 minutes, the night will be one for the fans to remember. They certainly got value out of the pre match activity honouring those who fought for their country. The MCG and the lights of the city as backdrop was made for nights such as these and, in my view, we received a more inspirational ceremony of Anzac culture than others both here and elsewhere around the country.

  • CASEY: Richmond

The match up of teams competing in our great Aussie game at its second highest level is a rarity for a work day Thursday morning but the blustery conditions that met the players at a windswept Casey Fields was something far more commonplace. They turned the opening stanza between the Casey Demons and a somewhat depleted Richmond VFL into a mess of fumbling unforced errors, spilt marks and wasted opportunities for both sides but they did set up a significant win for the home team which is exactly what transpired on this Anzac Day round opener. Casey opened up strong against the breeze with the first goal to Aidan Johnson, the Tigers quickly responded and the game degenerated into a defensive slog and the teams were level when the first siren sounded.

  • POSTGAME: Richmond

After five consecutive defeats, the Demons have now notched up back-to-back victories, comfortably accounting for the Tigers in the traditional ANZAC Eve clash. They surged to a commanding 44-point lead early in the final quarter before easing off the pedal, resting skipper Max Gawn and conceding the last four goals of the game to close out a solid 20-point win.
