A young lad breaking the law.. he'll learn.

Remember Clayton Oliver got done for drink driving in his first year as well.

Judas Priest! Cracking band!

Huge difference between going to the pub, sinking 10 pints and trying to drive home

Being a p plater and getting done at 4pm the next day because you're not quite 0.00

Not sure we know which this is yet, do we?

An articles states he was charged with “driving under the influence” (DUI), which is high-level. Lucky no one was hurt, hopefully lesson learnt.

Whilst it might not be our problem, there’s still a connection because Mac Andrew’s younger brother Riak is a member of our Next Generation Academy. While the rules make it hard for us to recruit a player like him (unless he turns out to be outside the best 40 prospects) I think his lovely family who were so excited about Mac’s recruitment on 2021 Draft Night might not be so thrilled about another son moving interstate to play his football. We could still turn this into a plus for us.

It's all part of the grand plan to bring him home to the dees.

Not playing for the Suns for 2 weeks is a good thing.

Pack up and leave. Suns arent going to be much chop. Too many sides better than them and more to play for this season.

Does he know how to get to Casey? l0l

Not convinced he’d get as good a run at Casey than he did with the Suns.

He showed some promise at Gold Coast but my info is that it wasn’t enough to earn a call up from out of their VFL team for last four games.

Needs to come to us at the end of his contract and potentially play with his bro Riak.

Did he?

I recall him doing burnouts in the carpark at a private school we trained at. Not sure about drink driving.

They ( Suns) had a lot of injuries last season esp. in defence so it makes sense to give Mac a go at AFL in the last 4 games. After all it was really a learning curve fit Mac in 2022.

Best thing is to use Clarry as an example snd hie he moved on.

Can't believe the Suns have strung out Mac's penalties to early season Rounds 1 and 2. Far too long as well as practice matches for this as he will get a licence Penalty plus financial fine which every day will remind him of his decision making.

Hope he comes out if this and matures quickly and his footy develops greatly in 2023.

Also Charlie Curnow  was caught on same charge around his draft month and seemed to have been a model since.

Part of young men especially growing up and learning ( unfortunately Sydney Stack has not been able to show the same development ) Tyson Stengel has with a lot of Eddie Betts family TLC in 2022. Eddie has left Cats so wonder how TS will be in 2023.

Andrew gets a 2 week suspension for drink driving

De Geoy beats the hell out of a innocent guy, forcibly touches a woman and ends up a NY jail, and gets....  Zero weeks

Makes sense!?

*2 weeks for Andrew seems reasonable to me btw

I thought everyone went back to their school and did burnouts.

License or no license and with a couple of sheilas too

He made a mistake big deal, hope he learns from it, to much [censored] comments from people who have made mistakes and never paid a price for them, we seem to hold young men who have not really lived or learned from life to a higher standard, did the herald sun punish Mark Robinson for comments he made about Fasolo no, they even tried to make the Rex Hunt story in a softer light.

These young men come straight out of school and are thrown into the limelight at a great speed of knots, now I understand that they are in a high profile sport and with it comes responsibility, some can handle the limelight and some struggle with it and take time but compare that with George Pell who people are defending, which one is worse?

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competition’s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.
