Its an absolute travesty that I don't give votes to Hibberd who was enormous on Rozee, to Petty who played his best game and Pickett who played his role as well as you can pretty much.  The substance of our A graders was too much for them to overcome, as it was for the Power!

Jack Viney made them cry. But no soup for you.

1. Pickett (9 tackles and 3 goals, what more can you ask from a small forward?)

Many unlucky, but I don't think they'll feel like complaining.

I know it’s a tough ask tonight but I’m blown away several are leaving Clarry out of votes.

21 of his 31 possessions were contested, 77% efficiency, 6 score involvements, 11 clearances. He was huge tonight.

It's Game Day and the Demons return to the MCG after a dismal performance in Gather Round to face the reigning dual Premiers Brisbane. What do expect to see from the Dees today?

  • PREVIEW: Brisbane

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.

Melbourne’s much vaunted finishing power evaporated at Adelaide Oval on Saturday afternoon, exposed for the third time in four years by its Essendon Gather Round hoodoo.
