While I agree with all of the points about Robbo being half-cut, and generally difficult to watch, I'm going to play devil's advocate.

I think he provides some value, in that he represents a fairly large proportion of the football watching community.

While slurred and poorly-delivered, he does ask questions and make statements that wouldn't be out of place in the local pubs of the outer suburbs. In general, that kind of representation has its place and to be honest, my main critique of Robbo is that, at times, he attempts to sound intelligent.

Strategically, the partnership with Gerard makes complete sense - one representative at each end of the social spectrum to soak up as broad an audience as possible.

Ok, I've had my fun - you may resume normal programming...

It makes sense in the same way a circus has a bearded lady, clowns, and men putting their heads in a lion's mouth.

That's the TV station's prerogative and if they want to do it, I'm not going to stop them. But nor am I going to watch the show.

Robbo has some good points to counterpoint his obvious bad ones. But how many workplaces will tolerate someone so unprofessional as to repeatedly show up to work drunk?

Wasn't David King a pompous arrogant argumentative expletive on tonight's episode. Absolutely monopolised his entire segment to the point even Robbo called him out on it (the other guest, Jordan Lewis, barely got 2 sentences in).

I watched the segment but I doubt I ever will again.  I think Trac was confused by Robbo's rambling.  It was hard to detect if there was a question there and if there was it was, sort of, "did you know Dusty was on the ground and did you know where he was"?

I think Trac was so stunned at such a dumb question he wondered whether he'd misinterpreted it and hence his bemused look and hesitant answer.

Robbo is just so awful.

"Yeah Robbo, Dusty's amazing. In between racking up 40 touches and kicking the sealer I made sure to keep an eye out for him so I could witness the beauty of his 6 possessions first hand."

I like it.

Eddie McGuire is just as big of a tossa as Robbo but in the know it all arrogance kind of way. I turned on footy classified for the first time in years and have turned it off again as his backing of Collingwood is sickening. Try to be impartial.

Last year a friend from England was staying at our house. I had 360 on the TV, and after a few minutes she asked me in all sincerity if “the gentleman on the show was part of an inclusiveness policy”.

After about two years off I gave SEN another try now that we're good. There's about 30 minutes of ads an hour and the other 30 is almost worse. Maher/Murphy would be alright as a frivolous 12-4 show but it's a disaster of a drive-time program. They need to get over the formula of duos in the afternoon and find somebody with a good balance of serious and light hearted who can handle the shift solo.

Had its moments pre-Hutchy.

Taken a major dive post Hutchy.

Unlikely it will ever improve while he owns/runs it.

Hasn't been the same since Hutchy Sacked Mark & The Ox Mid Show on their last show of a summer..

Only thing holding this station together financially is the copious amount of Gambling ads and updates.

Petracca was great tonight.

Robbo "why didn't you tell me? When did you know?" Petracca "I've always known"

Robbo "you go Gerard, I was gonna ask something but now I've forgotten what it was." Petracca "that happens often"

?

I really love the "Pacing, Chasing and Racing" plugs though.  The original ad for that was so catchy too.  Ty Hutchy

Yeah that made me laugh pretty hard.

I've started to watch 360 again this year thanks to my Kayo subscription.

I'm gradually starting to tolerate Robbo. I'll never be too keen on his style on delivery but at least now i don;t instantly go for the off button whenever he starts to rant and wave his arms around. Whateley is a good counterbalance. The guests are worth listening to and content is pretty good.

Plus the best feature about Kayo. The fast forward option is there if needed!

I watched it after you posted. Tracc was in good spirits. Hard not to like him.

But what he actually said was 'that usually happens often.

Which didn't sound as funny as your edit.

And was grammatically and linguistically headache inducing.

I’ve lost count of the times he’s called ‘Jarryd’ Roughead ‘Jordan’.
Another one last night.
It’s a gormless and blithering ijit.

He's learning, I think it takes time for players to realise they can't speak to Robbo like an adult. It's a really challenging interview 360, you have the usually mature adult questioning from Gerard and the often ignorant child like questioning from Robbo. Love or hate Jack Riewoldt, he has mastered talking to the 2 of them together. It's not easy.

I legitimately don't understand how he still has job position in the media. he isn't remotely coherent.

Robbo's performance at that press conference was one of the funniest and cringe worthy things I've ever seen!

If you were his employer, you'd have to think about making him take personal leave and get his sh*t together surely!

Even when he asks Nik Cox on AFL360 if he'd found himself a girlfriend. No context to his question whatsoever, and not really relevant to him winning the rising star. Then he just laughs it off with a snorted laugh. Geez, he really needs to be off the tube.

He’s easily the most disrespected journalist in the AFL -  and the best thing about it is he’s so thick he’s never even noticed.

  • NON-MFC: Round 06

The Easter Round kicks off in style with a Thursday night showdown between Brisbane and Collingwood, as both sides look to solidify their spots inside the Top 4 early in the season. Good Friday brings a double-header, with Carlton out to claim consecutive wins when they face the struggling Kangaroos, while later that night the Eagles host the Bombers in Perth, still chasing their first victory of the year. Saturday features another marquee clash as the resurgent Crows look to rebound from back-to-back losses against a formidable GWS outfit. That evening, all eyes will be on Marvel Stadium where Damien Hardwick returns to face his old side—the Tigers—coaching the Suns at a ground he's never hidden his disdain for. Sunday offers two crucial contests where the prize is keeping touch with the Top 8. First, Sydney and Port Adelaide go head-to-head, followed by a fierce battle between the Bulldogs and the Saints. Then, Easter Monday delivers the traditional clash between two bitter rivals, both desperate for a win to stay in touch with the top end of the ladder. Who are you tipping this week and what are the best results for the Demons?

What were they thinking? I mean by “they” the coaching panel and team selectors who chose the team to play against an opponent who, like Melbourne, had made a poor start to the season and who they appeared perfectly capable of beating in what was possibly the last chance to turn the season around. It’s no secret that the Demons’ forward line is totally dysfunctional, having opened the season barely able to average sixty points per game which means there has been no semblance of any system from the team going forward into attack. Nevertheless, on Saturday night at the Adelaide Oval in one of the Gather Round showcase games, Melbourne, with Max Gawn dominating the hit outs against a depleted Essendon ruck resulting from Nick Bryan’s early exit, finished just ahead in clearances won and found itself inside the 50 metre arc 51 times to 43. The end result was a final score that had the Bombers winning 15.6 (96) to 8.9 (57). On balance, one could expect this to result in a two or three goal win, but in this case, it translated into a six and a half goal defeat because they only managed to convert eight times or 11.68% of their entries. The Bombers more than doubled that. On Thursday night at the same ground, the losing team Adelaide managed to score 100 points from almost the same number of times inside 50.
