He’s a better player than you are a poster that’s for sure.

Hes rubbish. Absolutely disgraceful that they are giving him charity games. Hes cost us 3 goals single handedly

Swans space galore Demons not a spare cm. Why? Coaching

This is 2019 Melbourne.

6 inside 50s for one point.

They've had 8 inside 50s for 4.1.

This is the same side who had 9 scoring shots in an entire game against Fremantle two weeks ago, but has already had 8 scoring shots in a half today.

So who's on Pap guys?  What a disaster at selection and so far on the day this has been

This is comical.

Scoreline flatters us tbh. They’ve been harder at just about every contest.

Wake up you pack of losers!!?!

Most wouldn’t normally be as resigned to a loss before the second half, but can anybody recall the last time Melbourne played great catch-up footy? Just doesn’t happen. We be fkd.

Swans game plan: Kick it to Omac

They are genuinely just kicking it to whoever is on OMac for an uncontested entry or a weak turnover

How does it feel to get shown up by a hapless Sydney side boys?

This is shocking, this is why we can never trust this team, we aren’t going inside 50 with any composure.

Sydney coming off the same break. No excuse. None.

Without a doubt. You can see the sweat pouring off the Sydney players. They just have the desire to win. We just want to go back to the hotel.

I doubt we will win next week here either. Our players can't handle the pressure.

One of these teams isnt competing for a finals birth. You would be excused for thinking it was us.

wow, our pressure's good isn't it.

Hahaha. My mates are texting me "WTF".

Every contest we lose

we cannot kick it 30 metres

we cannot take a mark - aside from Gawn

jones should be dragged for not kicking that goal from 30. Grow some balls!

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
