Yeh but how about if you round it up to the nearest 0? Then it's 50.

You're a w4nkr Ethan! As a Westralian you should know better.

But using a similar methodology he was closer to zero goals than a 100 in every season he played.

Which is why we got rid of him. Absolutely hopeless ?

Sydney a potential destination for him.

Yeh it’s been doing the rounds on Bigfooty for a little while. Watch this space. It’s a risky trade.

Hogan doesn’t have any value in picks given his contract.

Very risky, imagine Jesse and Buddy both driving to training... Potential carnage

Wouldn't know mate, don't bother reading that trash site. Enjoy.

Never happened.Hogan never kicked 50.

Why do people keep harping on about this? The most he ever kicked was 47 from 20 games. Career 90 games 170 goals @1.88

Ben Brown by comparison 130 games 230 goals @ 2.2

Brown and Hogan into our current list. I wouldn't be complaining how do we get it done.

Hogan and Blakey officially  on the trade table. I’d take Blakely of the two. We would have to be idiots to take Hogan back.

A month ago I was liking the idea of getting Hogan back.    But how much money , energy and resources did we burn on Harley Bennell?   Hogan will be the same and it will end the same.

Ahhh the joys of living in a social media “enhanced” world where players live inside a Fish bowl with the public scrutinising their every move...

Do you think Wayne Carey, Garry Abblet Snr and Swartz had no demons To deal with, and never indulged in their preferred coping mechanism.. or two?
But they did ok on the field, you could even argue it helped them...

Jesse kicked 50+ with reduced games in the last season we made finals... has issues, yes.

Would have him back in a heartbeat.

No scrutiny of Gaz senior back in the day. Just smiles and laughs.

Jeepers how’s the sniff the end and Couch just laughs

what a throwback to when commentators were great!

I'd be very happy to take him on a reasonably cheap contract. We know he can fit within our forwardline, and in theory we should be more capable of addressing any issues with him compared to other clubs. Just depends if there's any bad blood between Hogan and the club.

Big difference between Hogan and Bennell.

If Hogan is fit and the price is right then absolutely i'd have him back. My preference is Brown though.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
