February 21, 20196 yr 20 sec to go in video, Angus and Max jumping up and down on the bench, thumping their chests, pictures of the G pumping as well, huge huge love. Whose Fight Our Fight Our House!

February 21, 20196 yr Far out, that sent shivers down my spine. Might give up my morning coffee and just drink this down every day instead.
February 21, 20196 yr Still not convinced Goody is the right guy.. his coaching record in Prelims is hopeless, as that video showed.
February 21, 20196 yr The overhead shot of Hannan taking that ball was awesome, never seen it before. Must watch those 2 games again... Edited February 21, 20196 yr by Wadda We Sing

February 21, 20196 yr On the 11th of January this year my Dad died unexpectadly of a heart attack. He was a fit and healthy man only 65 years old with everything to look forward to. His mum is still alive at 100 years of age and his dad died at 90. As he lived up the country with Mum, my last three great memories of time spent with my Dad were the Melbourne v Geelong game, the Melbourne v Hawthorn Game and Christmas. Needless to say that video smacked me in the guts hard and had me weeping like a baby. Im really scared about this year, not because I think we will be bad, but because there is every possibility we could be very, very good and if our wildest dream comes true, I will be completly inconsolable for so many reasons. If you see a 6 foot tall, skinny bloke with shaved head balling his eyes out on that one day in September, please throw your arm around him and remind him to enjoy the moment, because his a dad waited 54 years for that moment and will have fallen 8 months short.
February 21, 20196 yr Encapsulating where the club is at is a difficult thing but that video, starting with the pain of the Prelim my mind refuses to remember with great clarity, and taking us through the mindset of a young coach that knows the power of a buoyant fan base over young footy players is the closest anything will come to defining where the club is at right now. Well done to the club for putting that together and kudos to Goodwin who shed his buttoned down persona mid way through last year and revealed more of himself and what drives him.
February 21, 20196 yr It’s unfinished Business. That is the way all levels of the club must view last year. We all got on board and it was great. But we fell short by a long way actually. Players cannot be mentally exhausted with 2 games to go. In years gone by, when we got close The Club retreated after getting a sniff. 2019 must be diferent. 88 Quarters must be fought out at 100% Then September begins all over again

I am sorry for your loss mate.. i unfortunately lost my little nephew last week who would have been a little demon supporter. The fact he never will grow up to play footy and support the mighty dees is just heartbreaking. The video brought the lump in my throat.
February 21, 20196 yr I had tears and have been gut wrenched from that loss to the WCE last year and feel for Goody and our lads. I am wishing for tears of happiness for 2019 and hoping it is our time.
February 21, 20196 yr It’s not easy to break through all the football cliches with a message that resonates, but they achieved it and then some with that video. It’s also great to see Goody drop the stoicism. Even for just a moment.
