And here are the last photos you will get from Liam via myself until we come back for round three (if we can make it for training that week). We hit the road towards Sydney and home, tomorrow.

As usual the full set of photos can be found at the following link, and for those unable to access Facebook, a subset follows.

It appears I’m limited to just 1.63mb of file upload on Demonland ?. Is there a maximum amount of data per person over a certain period, or is there some way I can circumvent this limitation? (when I uploaded images for Monday’s training it indicated I could upload up to 18+mb of files, now I’m limited to 1.6mb)

Firstly thanks for the awesome photos.

Secondly you had used up 91% of your alloted quota of uploaded storage onto Demonland. I have now doubled the quota for life members.

Great photos....and look at Frosty! Talking of a 'breakout' year, I am changing my position. Both Frosty and Pedo are going to scar the whole competition this coming season with fear, trepidation and unstoppable defensive and forward excellence. Watch out Collingwood - they're coming to get you!!!

Great stuff hardtack and son and saty. In your sons photos HT there are two of Salem that caused me to look twice. In the  first it looks like he has grown a beard and in the second a third arm as well!

Harmes has number four this year?

Seen a good deal of that, OMac - feet flat on the ground, thinking out loud 'What do I do next?', 'Maybe if I stand here looking like I can occupy this ground the rest of the game will go around me, perhaps?', 'Hey, they did!' Gutsy stuff, I'd reckon.

Couldn't help yourself

As stated elsewhere the FD have a completely differing view of Omac

As Goodwin stated the 3 amigos are gelling well and Kielty who also trains with them is getting all the same info which can only benefit him

Salem jokes about this, being politically correct, it's in his DNA, reckons he shaves before training but by the end of the session needs another one

Harmes is Nr 4, actually asked for it, he is my pick to go to another level this year

I say this every year: thank you so much to everyone who reports and who downloads photos. For those of us living away from Melbourne it is wonderful to see. And the excitement builds.

i must say Hogan looks very scary indeed and Frosts ears look like they were taken from Charlie Windsor!

I’ll second that!

After last years disappointment, I’ve had a pretty bitter taste in the mouth and I haven’t been counting the days to round one like I have in previous years.

The recent coverage of training on DL however has started to stoke the flames again; starting to feel excited about what’s to come!

    FROZEN by Whispering Jack

Who would have thought?    Collingwood had a depleted side with several star players out injured, Max Gawn was in stellar form, Christian Petracca at the top of his game and Simon Goodwin was about to pull off a masterstroke in setting Alex Neal-Bullen onto him to do a fantastic job in subduing the Magpies' best player. Goody had his charges primed to respond robustly to the challenge of turning around their disappointing performance against Fremantle in Alice Springs. And if not that, t

    TURNAROUND by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons won their first game at home this year in the traditional King’s Birthday Weekend clash with Collingwood VFL on Sunday in a dramatic turnaround on recent form that breathed new life into the beleaguered club’s season. The Demons led from the start to record a 52-point victory. It was their highest score and biggest winning margin by far for the 2024 season. Under cloudy but calm conditions for Casey Fields, the home side, wearing the old Springvale guernsey as a mark of res

    POSTGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood

Once again inaccuracy and inefficiency going inside 50 rears it's ugly head as the Demons suffered their second loss on the trot and their fourth loss in five games as they go down to the Pies by 38 points on Kings Birthday at the MCG.

    GAMEDAY: Rd 13 vs Collingwood

It's Game Day and the Demons are once again faced with a classic 8 point game against a traditional rival on King's Birthday at the MCG. A famous victory will see them reclaim a place in the Top 8 whereas a loss will be another blow for their finals credentials.

    BOILED LOLLIES by The Oracle

In the space of a month Melbourne has gone from chocolates to boiled lollies in terms of its standing as a candidate for the AFL premiership.  The club faces its moment of truth against a badly bruised up Collingwood at the MCG. A win will give it some respite but even then, it won’t be regarded particularly well being against an opponent carrying the burden of an injured playing list. A loss would be a disaster. The Demons have gone from a six/two win/loss ratio and a strong percentag

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an
