@Demonland, congrats again on a fantastic achievement! I caught the last 2 minutes of the great man last night (and the breathless hosts at the end!) - can't wait to listen in full this evening.

I'm glad Demonland got a nod in the article on afl.com, too. Being a part of Demonland has become like a family/sanctuary/clubhouse for me, it's a proud moment!

I was actually speechless at the end.

Just finished listening, since it was before my time I didn't know a lot about Jako but I did some research and watch some videos and read the comments here to get a better idea

Ox must have got wind of the interview. I didn't hear this so I don't know the context that it was brought up in.

It was brought up by Mark Allen at the start of the program.

Ox talked briefly about him.

Mark Allen told the listeners if they wanted to hear the interview they can find it on demonland.com.

Amazing work guys.

About 20 minutes into the show a call came through telling Ox to do himself a favour and listen to it. It was brought up at the end of the call.

That photo of Jakovich and Schwarz...  wow.

What could have been.

I would go as far as to say that if they both remained injury free, it would have become the greatest FF-CHF combination in the history of the game, and by far the most exciting.

@Demonland, Jako more-or-less said at the end that he'd be open to doing a follow up interview.

Clearly it's only the day after following the interview but do you intend on taking him up on that inference?

I noticed how Jako mentioned he was a fan of the podcast and still a big fan of the Dees.

Righto, time to confess: Which one of us Demonlanders is actually Jako?

I was there that day. I was 12. Can you imagine as a 12 year old how much I loved seeing a bloke kick 11 freakish goals?

That game and The Wiz kicking 10 goals in a half in 2000 are the best individual games I’ve ever seen.

Both times I just felt privileged to be there.

That was brilliant. Loved it.

Complete opposite to what I expected, he loves to talk! I look forward to the follow up next week.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to
