Looks like GWS'  Matt Kennedy will go for pick 40 to Carltank, why can't we go after these players instead of selling the farm. He's shown more than Tyson at the same age and somehow we gave up pick 2 for him.

I had a laugh at Freo asking for Pick 2 for Lachie Weller.  If he is worth Pick 2 then Alex Neal Bullen is worth Pick 1 and 3.

The Hogan stuff is laughable.  Sheahan and Nixon are as bad as those 'Trade Whisperer' twitter accounts.

Contracted player that Freo don't want mixed up in their Wilson negotiation. I see it as very smart to ask for a top pick, it either shuts up GC and his manager or makes them work really hard to find a good deal.

While they offer a future second rounder for Wilson, who is a better player?  Poor form from Freo.  Quite happy to welcome back a few players who want to go home but won't accommodate those who go the other way.

I read the suggestion as Weller and 5 for pick 2

You might be right, although the HUN article I read doesn't say anything but Freo being 'flabbergasted' about being asked for Pick 2.

Strange, seeing that Gold Coast wouldn't be the ones asking for a pick, if the player is headed their way.

Anyway, freo will need their pick 5 and more, for Jesse

I suspect the first mentioned name may also be the tweeter you refer too...

Pretty sure Sheahan was exposed as the Trade Whisperer last year.

MFC has demanded at least pick 2 and Freos first rounder next year for Jesse. This is why Freo offered Weller and 5, for The Suns' pick 2. This will then be sent to us for Hogan along with their 2018 1st pick. Freo were asked for their first rounder and Neale, but he refused to be traded, so we are in for 2 x first rounders instead, with this years being upgraded so we can get our intended target in the draft. The Lever trade has been used as the basis of our demand for 2 x first rounders, with nothing more than a fourth rounder going back to Freo.

Deal essentially done and will be announced Wednesday.

pick 27 and 30 (for watts) for 13?

Been waiting for something like this.

Richmond will do the same kind of thing too.

Looks like WC's pick 13 may be offered to help facilitate Stringer trade:

The AFL article mentions his girlfriend as a factor. Given that he’s only 21 and making career decisions around a girlfriend it may we’ll be that he’s a lunatic.

I think he should be drug tested for melanotan. If he's gone cross eyed... start to worry!

Or Gold Coast tell Freo they'll wait till next year when Weller will be out of contract and its quite likely Gold Coast will have a very early pick in the Pre Season Draft. Always important to know your leverage in any negotiation.

I think they are trying to boost traffic to their site or Facebook page or whatever they've got going on. Can't see us dealing Hogan out if he's happy to stay.

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years. The big fall came in 2024 with a collapse into the bottom six and a 14th placing. At Casey, the 2022 VFL p
