All three Demon teams won at the weekend (the women's team is out of season).

All three jumped into finals positions with the Casey Demons Seniors in 8th place and the Casey Demons Development League in 4th spot.

8 + 4 = 12 / 2 = 6.

Big critic of Oscar. Best game he has played for the club.

Best half.

I don't like dealing in hindsight... but how close were we to being 10-1?

Well the Cats and Tigers games we only lost due to mid game injuries.  So thats 8-3 we should be at if we weren't cursed.

We absolutely threw away the Hawks and Freo games, lost both by under a kick. If we had a ruckman in those games we'd be 10-1.

The North loss we didn't deserve to win, though likely would have with a ruckman.

You could make a case that we should be 11-0.

The most pleasing aspect of the year for me is our percentage. It's very healthy and we have not had any really big losses this year. The biggest loss came against the Cats, where we lost Gawn. Not a bad effort considering they are in the top 4!

Also pleasing that unlike in previous years, we don't give up when we are behind. We fight back really well. It would be better of course not to get ourselves into those holes to begin with, but it's a good skill to develop!

We actually have the 4th highest average (a better stat considering 6 teams still haven't had a bye).

Do you mean Percentage?

Guess what, our Percentage is 6th highest!

Interesting that Dees are now sitting in 6th.

Have the 6th highest total crowds in attendance (H&A). Even after an abysmal 5,000 in Alice.

Have recorded 2 games in top 6 in attendance this season. Vs tigers (2nd biggest) and vs Pies.

http://afltables.com/afl/crowds/2017.html

According to that site we are 4th in average attendances (home and away), despite the Alice Springs crowd.

The only clubs who get more people to their games are Collingwood, Richmond and Essendon.

Our home game average is much lower but for sponsorship and awareness it's just as important, if not more, to be focusing on exposure overall and if we're playing in front of the 4th highest crowds weekly, that is important.

Mark Neeld coached one win in every 6.6 games.

if you take mark neeld's name, convert it to hebrew and then the numeric equivalency you get.....you guessed it........666

I shouldn't have doubted you. According to this, 666 in Hebrew actually translates to Nero Caesar.

Oh La Dee-vina, when are you going to learn that you can't trust everything on the internet!!!

Surely Demonland is the one and only true source

not quite right, you have it back to front, it is a one-way only translation. in greek and hebrew numerology many names translate to 666 (some say 616 was the original designation for mark of  the beast)

    TRAINING: Monday 20th January 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session.
