We need GWS to belt them to help us stay in the hunt for finals. Saints giving it a real crack though.

Stupid Saints supporters yelling "ball!" en mass every time a GWS player grabs the ball, even when they haven't been tackled.

Ha! I thought it was just tiger supporters who did this!

Josh kelly has been average. Not worth anywhere near the million a year for 9 years touted in the media. Dylan Shiel is a far more damaging player.

Has the f'n useless AFL app just died for anyone else?

Both 'listen live' and 'watch' suddenly stopped -internet connection OK as this is still working.

Bloody greedy Gil and henchmen won't allow the stations to run their own app, but don't make a decent one themselves.

So typical of this incompetent money hungry mob.

Game over...

Unless Jack Steven and a couple of mates pull the finger in the midfield it's going to be a blowout.

Touch early Rj.

God I hate the Frankensteins, we did well to beat the Saints rnd 1 they do look a side tonight.

Shiel has been fairly sloppy with possession though.

Would rather have Oliver

Still working for me. It has been shocking this year though. All 2017 video and live streaming dropped out for 3-4 hours last weekend fore everyone.

Agree he has been slopping, turned a few over. He's just more explosive and damaging IMO. Kelly has had 16 touches and only gained 41 metres. For someone who is purely an outside runner, that is not very productive.

Interesting "Abe's" comments about the umpires. I'm watching hoping the Saints win, and I reckon the ump has missed about 10 throws by GWS, just shows depends who you want to win is how you look at the game. Also that NO 12 for the saints is hopeless, is he the same guy that kills us most games he plays against the Dees ?

Our % is currently only 2 higher than Saints. We need GWS to belt them to help us with our quest for finals.

Geez BT and Bruce are hitting new lows tonight too. Did you see Bruce's interview before the game, what a dribbler he is...needs to be retired.

Alright Demon nihilists,

GWS most likely down 2 players at halftime, and it looks like Hopper is injured but playing through it. If only one of the injured party were a ruck man we'd basically have a like for like on our Richmond game. You'd have to think on average GWS have a minimum 3-4 preseasons on our boys so that will help them a lot.

So what happens now? Can they work through 2 players down before halftime for a win?

I reckon it'll hurt them in the last, but I'm fascinated to see.

Reckon GWS can still get up. They're playing poorly and still winning, so hopefully they can kick into gear and thrash the Saints the second half. If their midfield and half backs can be a bit cleaner going forward then they should win. As long as they can keep getting it down to Cameron they'll be fine. He can turn it on and make goals out of nothing that guy, absolute gun forward he is!

This is the only way StKilda can beat them.

Pretenders, like Richmond.

I don't care if they are pretenders, at least they have built a team the right way not had gold handed to them on a plate....

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
