Gotta love Bernie.  Putting H in his place but in a professional way and letting the media know what the story really is.

Personally I think Bernie should not be commenting on issues that have not finished playing out yet, regarding a player who is at present still his team mate.

I'm still too upset about the death of Patrick Swayze to take all this in properly.

While the papers may have been quick to say he might sue the club it might well have been he's hired a lawyer to settle his exit and settlement of his contract.

Very interesting to read Bernie's comments vs Mahoney. Mahoney's become a very good operator and an excellent spokesperson for the club relating to football issues, his comments to the media perfectly designed to douse the issue so it can be sorted.

While a big part of is really happy the Bernie came out in support of the club it probably wasn't the best thing for him to comment directly on H and what he's doing. Probably needed to play more of a straight bat and just say that the club works really hard to manage concussions and all that jazz.

Although we seem to have the media and wider football communities support in this matter with most seeing H as nothing more than a fIog, I'm sure the club would prefer this matter not be played out in the media.

Jnr. I reckon there's some astute minds back in the office

They'd know things might be asked as this is only new to us.

Harry is trying to play us.... he's not !!

Great! That has just added more confusion and contradiction

Now he not suing us but is seeking legal advice to see if can get more cash

Which is his right.

Yes but it is a fine line between not suing the club and getting legal advice in preparation to sue

Or getting legal advice to help you get the best deal.

With no manager it looks about right to me...

I think the suing the club thing might be a bit of creative journalism.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
