Jetta- TMac-Salem

Hunt-Frost-Hibberd

(Wagner, Bugg,Lumumba,White)

Melksham-Viney-Vince

(Brayshaw,Oliver,Kennedy,ANB,Newton,Trengove,stretch)

Petracca-Hogan-Kent

Watts-Weed-Garlett

(Vanders, Pedo,Harmes,)

ruck-Gawn-Jones-Tyson

Finally, we will have players I want in the team who don't fit due to depth! Snag one or two surprises in the trade period and it starts to get exciting

Not surprisingly, these teams look exactly like the current team, but with Hibberd and Melksham in them, so it's a pretty pointless exercise.  I suppose it's a good sign that this year, we don't have to put "PICK X" in our hypothetical next year's side.

Ofcourse it is too early for such predictions but why are people putting Melksham in the side. Hibberd I understand but the other bloke. Nah.

I know he's been injured this year but I am disappointed that Fyfe wasn't selected somewhere. Other than that this looks fine to me.

Also, harsh on Terls, I'd have him on the ground somewhere. Doesn't matter where, he will get it done

No I am questioning whether he is in our best 22 and I don't think so. Just an opinion.

You could fit him in of you didn't have Vince in twice!

Sorry Melksham should be in midfield group. Brings run and carry and footspeed. Good mix of mids.

Said the same thing last year but don't want to play Bombers first up or first game in Melbourne.

They will be so hyped up with their players back.

Happy to play them later in the season.

Demonlanders were laughing at me when I said we would lose to them in round 2, months earlier.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
