Regardless of todays outcome, given Casey Form last night I have both Weeds and Petracca in next week vs Collywobles!

The rest I will think about after todays game!

Weeds is still a weed picket - if we see him at all it won't be until near season's end. Petracca - I'm tipping in two or three weeks.

we won't see Petracca or Trenners, ANB, Brayshaw, Garlett and Pedders should come in. I doubt weeds would come in either.

Harmes and Kent definitely not in the gun IMO.

I'd be happy with no change.

M. Jones was our fourth highest possession player (even if some went awry) . Bugg more likely to,lose his spot.

Kent did kick 4... He was poor in other areas but doubt he'd be dropped after that. Harmes was there abouts again, did enough.

Frost is not a footballer, drops easy marks, doesn't provide much in the ruck. Having said that he is been played out of position. Needs to go back to Casey and play down back. But dropping him again really is ridiculous.. What's the point in dropping him one week picking him the next.

Vanders needs to lift.

Petrecca isn't ready. We may go in unchanged

Kent kicked four, but I thought his first half was poor, and he hasn't been great all year, two of his goals should have been passes to people in better spots but he kicked them so that's ok. I still think he doesn't do enough around the ground, but I could be wrong.

TBH I did not realise Harmes had ten tackles.

Vanders and Bugg should have also been in that group.

Yes M jones got the ball a lot, also slammed them onto his boot without looking again like he use to, besides I think ANB or Brayshaw are upgrades for him.

Has too be a few changes surely we cant abide losses any longer for any reason.. We lost  and the seconds won  by a truckload. Clearly we have massive talent on the verge.

So who didn't play well today?

I know we are all trying to get Matt Jones out of the team, but he is comfortably best 22 at the moment.

He had a lot of clearances today, so why is him slamming the ball onto his boot in the clinches any different to Bernie?

Frost or Pedders ....... that's a major dilemma for me.  They both bring totally different things to the table (crockery & cutlery) but we desperately need the full setting.  It's pointless chopping and changing them week about, so I'd probably keep the faith with Frost.  He is more the 'future' than Pedersen, and hopefully playing forward and back-up ruck will 'click' for him soon.

Will Vince earn a holiday(?) ..... and if he does, will he be replaced by ANB or Brayshaw? .... another dilemma!

Jeffie should be an automatic inclusion if he's fit so Bugg or Vanders might have to give way.  Down to likely match-ups I guess, but I'd prefer to give Vanders another week, because we know what he can do.

This one will be close to it.  AVB and Bugg have been average the last few weeks, and Garlett would be an automatic inclusion, while Brayshaw seems to have responded well to being dropped.

If you are suggesting he should get a holiday for the bump on Ziebel then I suggest you stop following AFL

AVB has been seriously disappointing so far this season.

That is a harsh piece of advice to a poster who is never anything but completely civil. Especially since you are barking up the wrong tree regarding what incident it was.

    BOILED LOLLIES by The Oracle

In the space of a month Melbourne has gone from chocolates to boiled lollies in terms of its standing as a candidate for the AFL premiership.  The club faces its moment of truth against a badly bruised up Collingwood at the MCG. A win will give it some respite but even then, it won’t be regarded particularly well being against an opponent carrying the burden of an injured playing list. A loss would be a disaster. The Demons have gone from a six/two win/loss ratio and a strong percentag

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
