So you throw a word like schadenfreude into a sentence but you do not know the difference between there and their!!!!!!

Can't wait to see Trenners out there again, going to be a massive crowd at the game i reckon.

Thanks, I hate it when people get their there's mixed up. It started out as their schadenfreude moments and when I changed the sentence I missed the error.

I will let you get away with it this time, but consider this you're final warning ;)

Salem is a favourite of mine, the kid just oozes class and toughness. Can't wait to see him crack in and hopefully have an uninterrupted season.

I'm most excited about Kent & Oliver outside the main ie Hogan Gawn Viney etc..

Also the prospect of Hunt becoming a Davey type chase down player excites me!

lol, you realise you stuffed it up there as well? You've used a conjunctive apostrophe where you shouldn't have.

I'm not usually someone who likes to correct grammar on the internet, but this one was pretty funny.

Damn, I give up, no apostrophes for plurals, not sure there's* is conjunctive but I'm batting zero so let me have it

Edit:- theres - a made up plural form of their they're and there. Sometimes English fails more often my English fails.

Been a long time coming with a list this long but take your pick and with apologies to ANB, Brayshaw, Stretch, Vanders and Oliver (How good is it not to expect a 1st year player to be our saviour and shining light and allow them to develop)

Salem - think we landed a beauty in him

Kent - I think the penny has dropped, he has the tools and the speed to really hurt opposition

Petracca - loved what I saw in 2014 Nationals and the pre AFL willingness to knuckle down

Trengove - obvious reasons and many forget the footy smarts, discipline to adhere to team structure and ability shown before injury

Hogan - 2nd season and has everything

Viney - jumped up a class last season expect him to become our number 1 mid by seasons end

Tmac - can he make the early season form of 2015 to a consistent and regular occurence

Gawn - Has the preseason and miles into the body to go with the ability and the ruck craft he has learnt, could be a big year

That's way too much vocabulary for my tiny brain.

Hurts trying to figure that one out into laymen's terms.

The Trac for mine. I am as excited about what he might bring to the table as i was with Hogan.

Because he is not a KPP i don't think people have really considered how big an impact he might have, unlike Hogan who everybody thought would impact straight away (admittedly also because of his big year at Casey not just he was KPP). I really think, if he remains fir, he could be huge factor for us in rising up the ladder.

He will be a really difficult match up on the HF with his size and strength and us loading up on talls in the forward line will make the match up even trickier. And they will have to blanket him because he will damage sides if not. He also an X factor and all teams need one or two of those in the forward half.

Kent is a close second, for much the same reasons actually and in particular because he also has an X factor. He also has a bit of a strut and a bit of mongrel about him.

Trenners for sure. What a bonus it will be if he can come back at full running capacity.

Trac a close second.

Others I am most excited to see in terms of what level they can go to this season, in order, are Tyson, Kent, Vanders and Salem. Those four go up a gear and we become a much more damaging side.

I voted Hoges for his sheer will and ferocity....his demand for the ball is something I havent seen since the days of Jaka....

But there are many others i could choose....Dean Kent will arrive this year...I feel it.....hes just got that X factor and outstanding pace which i love.

I am confident that Jack Viney will take a big leap this year, and I am tipping him to make the AA squad of 40 odd this year. So I am excited to watch him play to see if that happens or not.

No question, Hogan.

Could be the best player to ever play for Dees. Massive call obviously. He could actually destroy teams this year if we give him some service and lift the inside 50 count

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
