yep, if we are really making players earn spots Dawes comes back through the VFL. Might be good for him anyway to both regain some form and bag a few goals. Cant be good for the confidence being a forward and not having much of a scoreboard presence.

Bump bump

Pedersen > Dawes

After today

Pedders >>> Dawes (and I have been a massive Dawes wrap.. .)

PEDOLANKO!!

Should stay in for the rest of the year. Him and Hogan worked impressively today.

Have to agree. All that we wanted of Chris Dawes has been wasted. Cam Pedersen has overtaken him now. Time to move on and either trafe/draft for another KPF.

My girlfriend came with me to watch the girls game as she plays too, turned to me and asked who number 21 was. Then every time he got the ball she called out his name and said how good of a player he was.

Such a good mark. Such safe hands

We've called him The Fridge for a couple of seasons now because his physical impact in contests. He is now worth his weight in gold for the inspiration, goal return & marking efficiency. We are re-christening him The Golden Fridge!!

Hopefully Roos makes Dawes earn his spot back. Honestly cant see Pedo losing his spot

Cam [Pedersen] has a crack unlike a lot of his team mates

He isn't the most skilled but gives his all

Keep him in the side...

Some on here have been saying exactly that for some time Sir

Well done, Cam. Keep stringing these impressive performances together. That's two in a row. Imagine another tall KPF next to Hogan and Pedo and another quicl crumber like Jeffy. I wonder if Kent can play that role?

Can't see who they would drop for Dawes.

Pederson , Hogan and Howe are better Marks of the ball and more dangerous.

Dawes seems to work hard but doesn't seem to get a result.

Hope they don't sacrifice Fitzy for him as he was terrific tonight down back.

The reality for Dawes is he has to earn his spot back or as an injury fill in. It would be a crime to drop Fitzy after his game today.

Fitzy definitely worth persevering with. Guys like Pedo and Fitzy have been sacrificed for Jamar, Dawes and Watts for too long, regardless of position

Play all 3, Can't see the problem with 3 solid talls in the forward line

what are you doin', don't call him that. next he'll get a big head & will get dropped, never to get another test in his career. ;)

Dawes doesn't come back for mine. Frost is ahead of him and now Peders is...

It's not silly to say play all 3. With the skills Hogan has up the ground and with Pedersen back up rucking it can happen for sure.

But it should be play all 3 if they are in form.

I watched Pedersen play for Casey v Coll earlier in the year. He was lagging to get to contests, not holding marks and not at all looking dangerous. He's been made to work for his spot and has found form and is now covering the ground and holding his marks.

Dawes can go back to Casey, get fit and get his confidence back. Then if Hogan needs another rest it can happen. Or if Pedersen drops off they can make the swap. Or as I said at the start we can pay all 3.

Hogan is certainly on good money. Dawes is on good money. Pedersen was wanted by Coll I think when he left North. I bet he's on a fair pay packet as well. They are key forwards. Only so many good ones to go around 18 teams. So let's stop with the crap about who makes what and how good a 'value' they are. If the bust their guts playing as a hard at it key forwards they will earn their money.

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan.
