Disgraceful.

That is all.

Was probably misquoted. He probably said "we expect 'to be beaten' by Hawks"

I'd really like PJ and/or the chair of the board to write to members this week and tell us what the plan is

This club has not recovered from 186 & the whole tanking period

I now wonder if it ever will.

Make T Mac the Captain Tomorrow.

I love Jonesy but he is not the answer

The club is Dead against any pressure

Thanks Schwaby you put the dagger right through this place.

The jumper means nothing.

You're not allowed to speak ill of Jones around here.

Didn't you get the memo?

Yes, let's rotate the captaincy every six months.

If there is someone out on that field worthy of leading the team, it is Nathan Jones.

If Roos is an honourable guy, he'll walk away and not get a pay out and let the successor who has an actual vested interest in doing a good job take over now

Our two best midfielders are Jones and Tyson. Jones has been well below his best all year imo, and Tyson doesn't even look like the same player. And our midfield is so thin we need them both firing.

And we're supposed to develop young players in this environment how?...

No. He needs to stay on and continue to try and right the ship and get rid of as many useless players as he can.

Only so that Goodwin doesn't have to focus as much of his attention on this continual failure of a re-build and list management.

Toumpas was damaged goods before we recruited him.

VFL is his game.

You happy with job Roosy's done are you Jaded

Roos isn't out there disgracing himself though lack of effort.

I do feel for poor Tom McDonald. He was hurting badly last week, and gets the brunt of our lack of midfield. Without him we would be looking at 187.

RETURN TO NORMAL by Whispering Jack

One of my prized possessions is a framed, autographed guernsey bearing the number 31 worn by my childhood hero, Melbourne’s champion six time premiership player Ronald Dale Barassi who passed away on 16 September 2023, aged 87. The former captain who went on to a successful coaching career, mainly with other clubs, came back to the fold in his later years as a staunch Demon supporter who often sat across the way from me in the Northern Stand of the MCG cheering on the team. Barassi died the

MATCH SIM: Friday 7th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded. Christian Petracca, Kade Chandler, Shane McAdam and Tom Fullarton doing non-contact kicking and handball drills on the adjacent oval.  All moving freely at pace.  I didn’
