Essendon players chosen 'at random' for evidence.

Perhaps that's how the good stuff was administered?

Posted

Like everyone else I have watched interviews with the country kid, Clayton Oliver and all those other awe struck, innocent 18 year olds living the dream and had forgotten about the murky goings on in this thread.

Back now to the reality of Essendon injecting unknown substances into their players and the fact we have picked one of those players up. Does my head in

nearly 6 days now since proceedings closed and the silence from the usual crowd is deafening

i wonder if this means anything. i know maybe no leaks but that has never stopped the propaganda etc before

It could be a sign that the only info worth spinning is still damning even in its spun form.

I like this interpretation.

Very good :)

This article from Jake Niall discusses the random selection of the players asked to testify (@ CAS's request) http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/how-and-why-essendon-players-were-called-up-to-hearing-20151125-gl7t2e.html

It looks like the AFL's and player's submission have pushed really hard 'for the players to miss no games', if found guilty.

It would be really interesting to know what position WADA have taken on this.

If 'Dees2014' is reading this, could you shed some light on the WADA response to the AFL submission on penalties ie if they supported, modified or opposed it?

The article says as submissions on penalties have already been made any penalties will be announced at the time of the verdict and if imposed will be effective immediately.

EFC are hoping for verdict pre Xmas but CAS have said they don't know so could be Jan.

Reported in the Hun that Hal Hunter has had a win in getting a ruling sayingthe AFL must share their information pertaining to their investigation into the EFC debacle. The door to multiple players suing the club just opened a little further.

It is a transcript of a Hird ASADA interview I heard on ABC radio.

The report said the will get everything that mentions his name, enough to fill several folders. The one thing that was mentioned that the AFL may appeal to withhold for confidentiality and legal reasons was the transcript of the Hird interview. There is plenty more to come out, including the manifestly inadequate records!

And here's the proof that anyone needed as to how differently CAS operates.. These players were called before CAS...at CAS' bequest.. They simply want at the truth... This IS why Hird , Little and the whole EFC ought to be shltting themselves just at the moment.. The truth WILL out...and then as many others allude...dams bust....law suits by the truckload..

Fanboy media still pushing the no fault schtick !!

There will be bans fanboys....just believe it !!

Turns out essendon already handed over all docs.

Lawyer cant believe there isn't an employment contract for Dank

Just to clarify, the article doesn't refer to an "employment contract" but "any contracts between Mr Dank and the club".

I'm not sure it's that unusual not to have a contract for these types of services, though. There may have been an exchange of emails or an oral agreement that Dank be paid on an hourly rate or per service (ie, per injection, for example).

I think James dealt in the SMS rather than contracts. This was cutting edge dodgy times.

James had to mask the fact that he was a bog ordinary coach because his followers thought otherwise...

I think its more likely a thought out, cynical effort to distance essedun from future law suits. They will agrue that,as he was not an employee or contractor, that the players should be suing Dank directly, and not the club.

I view every new detail, as being concocted by tbeir filthy lawyers.

AFL: What did Hal Hunter get injected with?

Turd : No idea, but I can say for sure that it definitely WAS NOT tb4, or AOD

As if Turd didn't know exactly what was being injected into each player...

James should be put in a boxing ring....Free Swinging...

Of course it wasn't. It cures cancer don't you know.

The players should be thankful that Essendon put TB4 on that document and not the REAL name of the drug they used and now can't remember.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
