Might still get a first round offer. If it wasn't for a failed medical, Richmond was prepared to part with pick 12 last year for Trengove who hadn't played a good game since 2011 and was barely on the park at all last year.

I believe it was our 2nd round + Trengove for pick 12

So potentially the lions could get pick 2 for Leuenberger?

Frawley was a joke for pick 3 but my god no one could defend that!

Leuenberger is worth a 2nd round pick at best. He has done nothing. I would say a 3rd round is about right,

He wouldn't be among their highest paid players either

Great.....You would swap a 100 gamer for a bloke who can't get on the park????

Has played 19 games and kicked 1 goal.....Has played a lot in the Giants seconds side which is a crap competition.

Haven't we learned that just because you are picked at No 3 in the draft, you must be better.

Talk about the other side always being greener.

Remember when everyone was salivating over Prismall.......

Just popped onto the MFC website and they had a highlights package of Daniel Cross being his last game.. They now have a highlight package of Jeremy Howe now...

Conspiracy?

Had the same reaction until I read the article. It's because it's Cross' farewell game and Howe's 100th game. Nothing more to it.

I was going to post this, but then realised they could get away with that because it's his 100th.

Jeremy Howe...great mark! Can also...great mark! As well as being a...great mark! Has strong skills in...great mark!

You forgot that he takes good marks! He's destined to be a dual mark of year winner. You can't pass up players like that!

I don't know how you could draw a conclusion from that video.

Yes he didn't seemed enthused about the prospect of next year at the Dees, but at the same time he also didn't have the poor body language of someone that wants out door.

I expect him gone but if clubs aren't going to pay him the Bucks he wants than he may as well stay at the club that gave him his chance at the big league.

the big offers aren't rolling in. we would keep him by default, unfortunately.

He probably thought he could cruise thru the year and big offers like GWS 2014 would just waltz thru his front door.

A bit big headed, maybe?

But he has been average this year so devalued himself badly.

Also, his manager seems a bit of a muppet:- A month ago T Viney said we wouldn't pay more that we thought he was worth. Roos said we had started talks with Jeremy but then his manager says 'hang on a minute we are talking to others and will wait and see'. Now that Jeremy is being shopped around again my take is he didn't like the probable MFC offer and finds that other clubs have cooled their heels a bit.

If he gave us the run-around he may well have done that to other clubs which would beg the question from them: how much do you actually want to play with this club?

I just hope if Jeremy stays he lifts his game to be near the top 5 in the B&F.

A reasonable expectation of a 100 game player coming into his prime.

He has been a disgrace all year. Sort of attitude that a team trying to reinstate a culture of success and respect should not tolerate. Has to go. At times this year I honestly believe he embarrassed the club and the jumper more than any player of the last 20 years.

I agree. For all the criticism of Watts lack of intensity and effort at time during his career it has never been as bad as Howes has for majority of the season.

Oh please.......That is the most stupid statement I've heard on Demonland (and that's saying something)

You must not have been watching for the past 20 years or so

So how does he keep getting a game if he is so bad....Maybe the football dept see a bit more than you.

Ever since his manager put talks on hold, Howe has been attacked on here .....Just ANOTHER whipping boy for supporters? to vent their frustrations on.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan.
