Good for you Saty. Got a change of undies in case the excitement gets too much? Only joshing. I actually appreciate your training reports, particularly when you report what is actually happening.

Can I ask you to report how Hoges is going as some were saying he was a bit proppy towards the end of Maroochy?

It'll be Straya Day on Monday. Don't forget to wear your flag cape to training! Oi, Oi, Oi.....!

Certainly sir, from what I can gather, there were quite a few sore bodies after Maroochydore, think that was the idea of the camp, actually given them a couple of days away, will be interesting to watch if there is any difference, although Roos said sessions may be light

Find it difficult to wear the flag cape, comes with being called a POM for the last 37 years, offends my Irish/Scottish heritage

Yep,I wouldnt wear a union jack either.

Besides it could play havoc with the scooter wheels.

Club website has it at 9:15 am at Goschs, Moonie will be so excited that I will be able to be there, fanboying to my hearts content

Indeed, it does and thanks to the club person who updated the site which now reads:-

Upcoming open training sessions:

Monday 26th January - Gosch's Paddock - 9.15am

All other training sessions are closed sessions.

They even have a nice map to find the venue for those who have never been to that part of the world before.

Except the map is of 'Casey Fields'!

Might be a case of: 'watch this space' as it might get updated again before Monday.

Well after spending the last couple of weeks in Vic, I've unfortunately been unable to railbird and report on any training.

I did however manage to get into the Demon shop today (what a stupid fucken place to have it) and purchase various MFC paraphernalia to adorn myself with. Served by a lovely young lass too I must add.

Back to WA I go where I shall look forward to us smashing the Dorkers in the NAB challenge. If it's not telecast and I'm not too intoxicated, I shall endeavour to report on the teams performance.

Thanks to everyone who takes the time to type up any training report; some are better than others in many different ways but all are appreciated so please keep it up.

So looking forward to this season, I reckon the Dee's are going to be the story of the year - all for good reasons.

well he did say he was a scootsman (partially)

anyway, i'd expect they have his'n'hers

Exactly right old chap, and for OD's benefit, mine has blue handles and lady has red handles, team colours, have also badged both with MFC stickers, caused much amusement a couple of weeks ago when I watched Collingwood training for a while when I was out and about doing other things, they were out when I passed by, gave it 10 minutes, only interested in the tattoos

I am speechless!

I'm going to do a report on Saty while he reports on the team.

Not just training reports, but reports on the training reports.

There you go. We don't muck around at Demonland.

(Going the extra yard.)

Could someone also do a report on the food available at or near the venue and on the amenities for spectators and players please?

Easy not much anywhere around bring your own is my suggestion.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
